Hi and welcome to FixYa!
If your going to use a password recovery cd.. you should use the free one below.. as it works far better
you cannot just burn the image you download though, you need a special program to make it into a readable disk..
Here is a link to the free special program
download and install imageburn.. and once installed, use imageburn to burn the disk
when you open image burn, you will have six options, select burn iso image to disk
then select the first file we downloaded, the oph live cd file
once burned to disk, boot the computer from that disk, and reset the password.
You can also take the alternative of wiping your computer, but you will lose all information you have stored on it such as pics, files and applications. It will set it back to factory.
Thank you for choosing FixYa for your computer needs today! Please take a moment to browse our other help areas for your needs now and in the future! We are always happy to help and are here when you need us.

If this is the SYNET07526, then you cannot change it to Win 7. You are stuck with CE and the installed software unless you just want to experiment. See my TIP at http://www.fixya.com/support/r7350901-fix_synet07526_wifi_flashing

Hello, from what I understand, the netbook doesn't use an Intel-standard processor, so only code specifically for that chip will run, ie, no downloadable plug-ins,java, flash etc. CE itself is based on windows 98. I found a site giving useful overviews on these netbooks, I think they're worth visiting:
just don't try to view it on your netbook! regards, nicam49

SOURCE: lost some software or drivers.
Toggle to "downloads". Follow directions to re-install Win CE 6 on a Sylvania Netbook that came with Win CE 6. Also join: http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/sylvania_netbook/
If you actually have the G-Netbook you need to contact digitalgadgets tech support.
