Question about Acer Computers & Internet
Did you pick the right operating system drivers? (ie x32 over x64), Did you get them from the manufacturer? It would be nice to see a snap-shot of the drivers installed. Considering getting drivers AND application for it.

Hello monzky and thanks for using fixya.com.
First off if you have upgraded to windows vista, it may be possible your webcam is not supported. The best bet would be to check acers website for updates for vista drivers for your laptop model. If you post your laptops model we would be more then happy to look them up for you.

If you click to close down your computer it comes up with a menu box .Look for CONTROL PANEL.In there you will find SCANNERS AND CAMERAS follow the insructions and this should load your camera with no problem. YOURS Mel
