Hi,
The styro foam goes in the hard plastic part and is split to slide the plant into and hold the plant in place...it also serves to plug the bottom to hold the dirt in place...

Andrew is ordering the top soil to fill the planter. topsoil is delivered by the cubic yard, and cost $43.00 per cubic yard, tax and delivery included. the determine the cost for the planter.

How big is the planter, what are its demensions. Figure out how many yards in the planter, Right? Either full yards or partial. Or you can buy the top soil in bags, start filling the planter, and when you over fill and spill on the ground you have the right amount, Also you must ask are there plants in the planter, because they will take up some room with their roots.. Good luck...By the wayis this a left handed planter or a right handed planter, ????
