SOURCE: Insert SIM Card

make sure the sim card can make good contact with the phone.
Also check if it doesn't have space to slide, causing it to loose contact with the phone.

SOURCE: z550i insert sim card

The problems i have with the Ericcsons are that they cards do not stay in very well. Is it on the top? Try pressing it down when you transfer or whatever and see if it works. If so then i suggest taping it down something similar.

SOURCE: my sim card doesnt work in my sciphone i68+

I see that this had been a while. The reason that your Sim cad doesn't work could be various: 1. Make sure that your phone is quad band, if it's a tri band then make sure that ATT works in 1900mhz. If it works only in 850 and your i68+ is a tri band, (which is not suppose to) then it will never work. As far as I know all i68+ original are quad band, some fakes i68+ are sold as quad band but are actually tri-band. 2. If you ATT sim card is a 3g card, it won't work either. These phones are not yet equip to work with 3g. I hope this clear up at least a little of your doubt with the Sciphone.

Why does my phone say no sim card when there is one in there. Its an Huawei HB5K 1H model, and there is only one place where the sim card can go.

Hi, either you card is not fully inserted or the wrong way round, if that fails try using another sim card for a different network provider.
I hope this helps.

How to connect huawei e392 to internet

After you put in the sim card you got from your provider, you just plug it in a computer. Your computer should have a driver, for this dongle, but all modern operating systems have.
If there is not much signal inside, it could be you need to connect an external antenna.
I saw some texts on the net, telling it is sim free, but it means it is sim lock free, so you can use sims from (almost) all providers. Chose the one you have the best signal. Don't forget the sim. Without one it won't work.

Showing invalid sim

The most common thing for any mobile/cell phone.
Easy fix simply take an eraser & rub over the contact of the sim card then making sure not to touch the sim cards chip re-insert in to the phone & it should be problem solved. If the problem still exists insert in to another phone if possible to test the integrity of the sim card if the sim card works in another phone it could be the phone you are attempting to use it maybe faulty or the sim card is incompatible or the phone is not unlocked entirely, if it doesn't work in another phone the sim card has failed & a new sim card is required.

Echolink test reports UDP 5188 and UDP 5189 indicates no receive.

In South Africa there are a few USB (HSUPA stick) dongle's (laptop/notebook) modems available where some work and some don't. I use 8ta (Telkom) which doesn't allow access to UDP 5188 and UDP 5189 yet the CellC dongle USB modem, allows access to Echolink. Two different ISP. 8ta use the Huawei Hilink (E3131) dongle where Cellc use HSUPA ZTE Corporation stick. I cannot comment on Vodacom as I do not use their facilities! Something to consider. At least I now have access to Echolink - albeit having to use a different 'modem'.
