I want to clear my ipod and start again!

I brought ipod the other day and while it was charging somehow when i touched it and i've realised how sensitive it is!It went onto Spanish language form and want to put it in English!
Also when i plugged it into charge it jus started adding all my music off my p.c. which i don't want to put on it!
I want to only add specific playlists and how do i do this?
I'm not completely happy with the product unless my problems can be resolved! Also when i was playing a track and press forward it wasn't going forward and it was not on the hold, could i have a faulty ipod??

To stop it from copying all of your files, open iTunes and click your iPod, then tick the box that says, "manually manage music and videos" you can now add them manually.
To go forward press the middle button and scroll the clickwheel.
I have a 5.5G iPod and the different types of iPods have different menus. Go to settings>language
Use google translate or a dictionary to translate the words.
Playlists have to be added on the iPod using iTunes or doing it on the iPod. Just right click and hit add new playlist on the iPod in iTunes.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

My apple ipod touch 64G wont charge

If you've tried without success to charge your iPod touch with a wall charger and by connecting it to computer with a ipod cable, and you've ruled out that the cable is functioning properly, contact Apple Support or go to an Apple Store for assistance. Launch your Web browser and navigate to support.apple.com to see various options for online and phone support, as well as to locate the nearest Apple Store.

The slide bar will not slide to unlock on my ipod touch 2nd generation. I've tried restarting. It holds a charge and I can play it on my docking station. I can't use it by itself.

I had the same problem with my iPod touch 3rd Generation, the slide bar will not slide to unlock. I could however use the slide to power off at the top of the screen. I tried everything from rebooting it to a full restore and nothing worked. I finally took the Touch Screen Glass Digitizer off and the ribbon cable that connects to the board had come loose. I pluged it back in and everything worked again.

Screen says battery is required to charge powering off

I was having the exact same problem and figured the battery or phone was hopeless because I've seen so many negative comments and no solutions. BUT, I kept messing with it and eventually I removed the battery and plugged the charger into the phone WHILE THE BATTERY WAS STILL OUT. Once I put the battery in with current already flowing, somehow, the phone started right up and started charging normally. Not sure if it'll work for every phone but somehow that did the trick for me and I've been messing around with my phone all day with no luck.

When i try and play a application on my new itouch ipod 16gb it t

Hi Vicky-Joy,

it is always a good idea to turn off your ipod touch or iphone after installing an application.

To do this, hold down the sleep/wake button on the top for 6 seconds until slide to turn off apears.

Then turn the ipod back on again, and it should work properly.

Also bear in mind that it may be poor programing that is causing the application to crash and exit out of itself.

Hope this helps,

Nathan.

Apple iPod touch Not able to Switch ON

http://www.ziphone.org/

Use the Ziphone ipod touch and iphone jailbreak GUI to put the ipod in recovery mode. Then restore it using iTunes.

You don't have to jail break it.

THat happened to me once when I installed something on my ipod.

it kept on restarting, and i used ziphone recovery and started over.

Make sure to get 1.1.4 firmware. its the most recent update on ipod touch.

Battery Problem?

It's possible you damaged the battery but not likely. The ipod has a circuit inside it to prevent overcharging (i.e. it stop scharging when the battery is full).
I would try the five R's at apple's website and then try charging it again and see if it fixes the problem.
See the five R's here:
