When trying to play a PC game I get a pop up that says 'Failed creating Direct 3D Device"

Make sure all your devices have updated drivers. To do this, right click on "My Computer" and select "properties" Select "Device Managers" Find your video components and click the button that say "update driver" Then make sure your other software, such as DirectX, is up to date.

Direct x9(direct 3d support not available)

After viewing the client screen DirectX was disabled.

If it happens again check this setting in the registry:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\Graphics\DCI

Make sure Timeout is set to 7.

If the value is set to 0, it will disable DirectX.

If it is 0, change it to 7, then restart the PC, should fix the problem.

documentation on netsupports site

Also ensure hardware acceleration is set to full and try and get the latest graphics card drivers for your computer.
