Have you used this camera to taken any new photo?
In fact, in your case, as long as your original photos on the inner memory card of your camera are not overwritten by anything else on the same memory card, you do have chances to get back them all. What you should do is really simple:
Firstly, stop using this camera or inner memory card immediately in case that any new file would overwrite your original photos and make them gone permanently. So, you should take care!
Secondly, plunge this camera to your computer and prepare to retrieve all your deleted pictures.
Thirdly, apply a deleted photo recovery freeware to retrieve all your deleted photos back successfully:
http://blog4mark.blogspot.com/2012/12/photo-recovery-after-delete.html
I believe this data recovery freeware can work perfectly on your camera memory card just in the same way as it completely retrieves all the deleted data of my friend off from his phone memory card. Just give it a shot!
Fourthly, save and back up all the restored photos on a different memory card or drive in case of data recovery failure.
Note: Never forget to back up everything important at least on two memory cards or locations in the future.
Good luck!

How to erase memory card

ALTERNATE WAY TO TRANSFER PHOTOS AND VIDEOS TO A COMPUTER
If your photos and videos are stored on the memory card, then remove the memory card from the camera and insert it into an USB memory card reader. Connect this USB memory card reader and memory card into the USB port of your working computer. Your computer will see this as an USB Mass Storage Device or an external storage device; you can then open the folder on the memory card and copy the photos to your computer. Memory card reader is a handy device and is inexpensive. You can copy photos from other cameras and you can also download photos off your memory card to someone else's computer without the need of installing any programs.
The quickest way to erase the memory card. Go to the camera's Menu and scroll through the settings to Format memory card then format the memory card.

My screen says 'internal memory is full' I have only taken about 50 pictures. I then bought a new memory card but after 3 pictures the same message comes on screen.

You need to look at your image storage settings. Press "Menu", "up/down" and "OK" to choose "Image Storage"; is it set to "auto" or "internal"?

If it's set to "Auto" then there's some reason that it's not recognising your memory card. You should format it. Press "Menu", "up/down" and "OK" to choose "Format" and then select the memory card.

If it's set to "Internal" then you need to set it to "Auto". Then it will use the memory card if it's inserted. (Take the card out to access the photos in Internal Memory.)

Can some one please help with my cannon powershot a95 whenit is turned on the image in the screen is distorted and does not matter what setting it is on , you can not get a image on the screen can not take...

If you can see the menu icons on the LCD, and can view earlier photos from your memory card, you probably have an image sensor (CCD) failure. See this link for details. If Canon determines that this is the problem, they will repair your camera at no cost, regardless of warranty status.

CAn u format the memory card using the camera because i so not have a slot to put it in my computers hard drive???? in other words how do i format??

Press the function button. Go to the "tools" menu. Scroll down to select the item that shows memory cards capacity. Then follow the on-screen prompts to format. A "low-level" format is best, so select this if asked. But also note that this will totally erase your card, so do this only after downloading and backing up your photos.

Digital camera won't download all pics to pc

I dont have a permanent fix for this but you can recover those precious pics.. When you can open it in photoshop just use file save as option to save them onto the computer.. Also when you are done with transferring all these pics then format the memory card(normal format not quick) then take some sample pcis and see if it skips again.. Postback so that we can followup on this..

My husband was viewing pictures on the camera and format came up so he hit ok, and it came up again and he hit ok, now we cannot retrieve any pictures. It says no pic's to view. Where did they go!!!, and...

I am sorry once you format a card the images are gone. most of the time. if they are real important pictures then there are services out their that can retrive them. you might want to take out the memory chip turn on the camera and see if you still have photo's on the internal memory.
