SOURCE: Please seeking help on how Ican get IC NUMBER

A vendor I frequently use is Encompass. They list the part here. You might try contacting them and find out if they actually can get the IC. It says there are none in stock, a special order item, but say 6 day ship time after you buy it.

I haven't been able to locate a replacement part number for the LA4645. Seems that there is no exact replacement by another manufacturer.

Good luck with your repair!

SOURCE: Panasonic television model TH-50PZ80U has trouble

    Hello
It will be very diffcult to make you understand where the board located in the circuit board. If you can follow its service schematic diagram, I've the schematic for TH 50PX75U. The internal circuit schematic for this model and your TH 50PZ80U are similar except in front panel appearance of cabin. If you are interested, send your email address to me by Fixya. I'll send a copy of it to you by return mail. After seeing that; you can determine whether you can do it by yoursef or not. I can't send it to you by this site, as it comes over 21MB in file size and in Adobe Acrobat format. This window does not allow me to sedn such large files. OK.

SOURCE: hello i for some reason

It is very likely that when you change the angle unit, you are not saving the changes made.
After you finish changing settings, use the TAB key repeatedly to move cursor towards the OK button at the bottom. If you do not confirm changes by clicking OK, they will be lost.

You can also make the changes the default ones by clicking the Make Default option.

Hi there, do you have the schematics for the Panasonic CT-27sf37b. This TV won't power up but making a high pitch sound near the thermistor area. Thanks.

    Hi Richard,

First of all thank you for contacting Fixya.com regarding your TV problem.

You have mentioned that you can hear a high pitch near the thermistor area and the TV won't power up. I've saw also in another link that you already replaced the thermistor but the symptoms still persist. You stated that the thermister heats up, that is normal and not an issue in this kind of symptoms. You can power up the unit even without the thermistor in the board and check if the high pitch will gone or not. But I've suspected that the symptoms will remain the same because the pitch came from the chopper transformer.

I've encountered this kind of symptoms not only on panasonic CRT TV's but almost in all brands. And the major caused of fault is the faulty electrolytic capacitor in the Voltage regulator IC. Your unit used STRF6524 (mounted on the aluminum heat sink) as voltage regulator IC and it has an electrolytic capacitor on its circuitry. I would advice you to replaced it to resolve the issue. The largest electrolytic capacitor is not the suspect here (don't replaced it).

Also check for bad solder joints around the regulator IC. Cracked, cold, dried solder can produced that kind of symptoms. It is hard to spot, you must used magnifying glass and work in the brightest area or much better to re-solder the suspected bad solder joints.

I have various of Panasonic schematic diagram but most of them is a LCD and Plasma TV. I don't have this model no. but please check the chassis no. of your unit and I will try again to find it on my supplier to give it to you for free as much as possible because I've saw it HERE but I don't think the price is reasonable.

Please let me know if you need further assistance.

Again, thank you and have a nice day!

    Kind Regards,

    Jdvillanueva

I have a Toshiba CT-90121 and my convergence is off. I can adjust the blue and red in the menu but cannot aline them with the green crosshairs. Do I need a new green projector or something else?

You need to remove the convergence Board and repalace the convergence IC's and and replace electrolytic caps and check for resistors that have changed in value. You can getb the parts at www.mcmelectronics.com com or just purchase a new board at www.partstore.com .

What capacitor do i need to replace the old ones in DMR-E85R to fix the problem with "please wait"

Best bet is to replace all of the electrolytic capacitors in the power supply one by one, noting original capacitance values, and voltages (capacitance values are marked in µF as well as their voltage on their jackets), uprating the value/voltage where necessary, and observing polarity (the negative pole is marked by a stripe down one side of the cap, and replacements should have this opposite the + symbol on the board) when fitting new ones in the PSU.

It may also require replacement of IC1, a 12V 5 pin IC regulator, since this may have been partially damaged by the increased output voltage of the failing electrolytic caps in close proximity to it. This device has its type number (prefixed by STR) on its face, and should be available from Panasonic. Make sure if you order a replacement, that it is for THIS MODEL only, and that it is for the power supply in this unit.

Before you go out and buy a whole bunch of new electrolytic capacitors (available from most electronics stores including Radio Shack etc), take a visual look at the power supply (unplug unit from power point, and carefully remove the power board.) Examine it carefully, and note each capacitor that you can the value/voltage of - write it down, and obtain the closest replacements of each. Don't panic if you can't get a 20V 680µF, use a 25V 1000µF instead.

The total cost depends on how many electrolytic capacitors require replacing, but it is best to replace ALL of them one by one, to ensure reliability of the circuit they are in, in this case, the power supply. Don't worry about the IC regulator or any other parts just yet, do the caps first, as these are not terribly expensive, before taking any further action.

Projection panasonic model tx43p800h, the led blinks 3 times. at ICs stk394-210 is wet by oil leaks from red tube. Is the Ics damaged? how abaout Tube was leakaged?

    Hi!

If the red tube you are refering to your question is capacitor you have to replaced it with the same type, value and ratings.Because the leak capacitor can cause voltage drop to make your TV failed to start up.

If the stk394-210 is wet by oil it doesn't mean that the convergence I.C is damaged but there's a possibility to damaged it due to short circuit. You have to do is to check first the resistor near the I.C using multimeter (range on ohms) before you replaced the STK394-210.

If this solution help you please don't forget to rate my answer.Thank you and good luck.

Where can we get the best IC Replacement

always stick with the manufacturers brand ! but you will need to check the resistors on the IC lines to make sure thier values are not off , because that will cause the IC to go again no matter what brand IC you use. other components in line of the IC should also be checked for bad values as they can also cause malfunction and breakdown of an IC and its circuit components

Only use the same part number when replacing convergence amps, or you will need to replace all of the power resistors with recommended values for the convergence amps subsituted.
