From the manual (page 5).

To be compatible with the 3-2-1 Series II or 3-2-1 GS Series II home entertainment systems,

MP3s must meet the following criteria:

All tracks must be burned in a single closed session

The disc format must be ISO9660

Each file must have a ".mp3" extension and have no other periods in the filename

It won't eject and makes a noise when I press the eject button

Sounds like the disc is stuck.
Look for a pinhole around the CD-Tray area, and straighten out a paperclip, and shove it straight back into the hole.
This should release the tray lock and eject the disc enough that you can remove it.
Once you have the disc out, try the eject button and see if it returns to normal operation (you may need to unplug and plug back in the unit)

ERROR MESSAGE

maybe the DVD player you got is not supporting all DVDs from around the globe. There is this thing called NTSC region 1 for Americas, region 2 for Europe, Region 3 for Asia, Region 0 for everything. I don't know the other regions but that must have been the problem.
