Helloi am having problem with dell t5400 presionwhen i start my pc and show my desktop few minutesautomatically turn off and orange light blinking do you tell me what the problem with My t5400 precisi

The only blinking orange light is located on the Network RJ45 connection

If you're talking about the Power light on the Front panel:

If the Power light is blinking green the computer is in a sleep state: The computer is in standby mode. Press a key on the keyboard, move the mouse, or press the power button to resume normal operation.

If the Power light is blinking amber indicates that an internal power problem might exist; The computer is receiving electrical
power, but an internal power problem may exist.
Ensure that the voltage selection switch is set to match the AC power at your location (if applicable).
Ensure that all components and cables are properly installed and securely connected to the system board.

Compaq presario 56000cl won't boot up / red light flashing in the back.

When you press the power button do you hear the fan running, hear the disk drive running, see any lights, do you hear the cd drive click once and see the light come on briefly on the cd drive door? If you see all the aforementioned then it is surely trying to boot. Computers don't boot mainly because of the following problems. 1) Bad Power Cord or Power Supply. 2) Electro Static Buildup. 3) Bad Motherboard 4) Bad boot or system files.
Remove the Power Cord and the battery if it's a laptop. Press and Hold the Power Button for 30 Seconds. Then replace only the Power Cord and try hitting the Power Button. If it boots you had an Electro Static Buildup. If you have boot or system files that are missing or corrupt normally the system will be telling you that on an error message that appears on the screen. Does your system show you anything on the screen when you press the Power Button? If not you have a Power Supply or Motherboard issue.

Start button flashing

It depends on the color, if it's green or amber. This may indicate the computer is in sleep mode. Press the power button to see if you can turn on the pc. If it doesn't press and hold power button for five seconds. You may give more details. I hope this helps

My dell home computer is making a clicking noise and will not start

would help if you can get indicators from the system like the color of the light on its power button and if it is blinking, the system may also have 4 small lights in its front or back panel which will also give indicators of the system. Things you can try to do to start isolating the fault is to remove the power cables and the data cables from all your drivers (hard disk, dvd/cd), and remove and reconnect the front I/O panel where the power button is located, remove and reconnect the power connections to the motherboard, remove and reconnect only a 1 working memory module, then try to turn it on again. Try to determine if any indicators change and try to pinpoint the source of the noise. it is possible that this can be from the hard drive, the power suppy or the fans on the system board. if it is from the fans or the power supply, those are the components to replace. if the noise stopped, try to reconnect the hard drive first and test it, then proceed with the CD/DVD drive. If you've isolated the fault, you can then proceed to get the needed replacement.

My d530 minitower powers off unexpectedly and red lights starts to blink on System's LED//

Hi Kindly let me know how many times the red light blinks
Condition Code Service Actions Processor thermal protection activated. Power LED blinks red twice, once a second, followed by a two second pause.
  1. Make sure the computer air vents are not blocked and that the cooling fan is running.
  2. Open the hood, press the power button, and see if the processor fan spins. If the fan is not spinning, make sure the fan cable is plugged into the cable header on the system board, and that the fan is properly installed and seated.
  3. If the fan is plugged in and seated properly, but is still not spinning, replace the processor fan.
  4. Reseat the processor heatsink and make sure the fan assembly is attached to the heatsink properly.
Processor is not installed. Power LED blinks red three times, once a second, followed by a two second pause.
NOTE: This condition indicates a missing or improperly installed processor, not a defective one.

Make sure there is a processor in the system. Reseat the processor and verify that it is installed properly. Power failure (power supply is overloaded) Power LED blinks red four times, once a second, followed by a two second pause.
  1. Check the voltage selector, located on the rear of the power supply, is set to the correct voltage (the correct setting depends on the region).
  2. Open the hood and make sure the 4-wire power supply cable is fully connected to the power connector on the system board.
  3. Check if a device is causing the problem by removing all attached devices (such as disk drives and expansion cards), then power on the system. If the system enters POST, power off and replace one device at a time, repeating the procedure until the system power failure reoccurs. Replace the device that caused the failure, then replace each of the other devices and confirm that they are functioning properly.
  4. If you cannot isolate the failure to a specific device in the previous step, replace the power supply. **
  5. Replace the system board.*
Pre-video memory error. Power LED blinks red five times, once a second, followed by a two second pause, and five simultaneous beeps are sounded
  1. Reseat the DIMMs in the memory slots on the system board, then power on the system.
  2. Replace the DIMMs one at a time to isolate the faulty module.
  3. Replace 3rd-party memory with HP memory.
  4. Replace the system board.*
Pre-video graphics error. Power LED blinks red six times, once every second, followed by a two second pause, and six simultaneous beeps are sounded. For systems with a graphic card:

  1. Reseat the graphics card and then power on the system.
  2. Replace the graphics card.
  3. Replace the system board.*

For systems with integrated (on-board) graphics, replace the system board. PCA (system board) failure. ROM detected failure prior to video. Power LED blinks red seven times, once a second, followed by a two second pause, and seven simultaneous beeps are sounded. Replace the system board. Invalid ROM based on bad checksum Power LED blinks red eight times, once a second, followed by a two second pause, and eight simultaneous beeps are sounded.
  1. Reflash the ROM using a ROMPaq diskette.
  2. Replace the system board.*
System does not power on. No beeps or blinks since the system is not functioning. Press and hold the power button for less than four seconds. Perform the following steps depending on whether the hard drive LED turns green.

If the hard drive LED turns green, then:

  1. Make sure the voltage selector (which is located on the back of the power supply) is set to the correct voltage for your region.
  2. Remove the expansion cards one at a time until the 3.3V auxiliary light on the system board turns on. If removing a card turns the light on, replace the card and then see if the system works.
  3. Replace the system board.*

If the hard drive LED does not turn green, then:

  1. Make sure the computer is plugged into a functioning AC power outlet.
  2. Open the hood and make sure the power button is securely fastened in the power harness and that the harness is connected properly to the power connector on the system board. In other words, make sure that the power button is making contact with the power circuit.
  3. Make sure the power supply cables are connected properly to the power connectors on the system board.
  4. Check to see if the 3.3V auxiliary light on the system board is not turned on, replace the power supply. **
  5. Replace the system board.*

Logitech optical mouse won't turn on with new batterys

When you say turn on, I assume you mean the mouse itself shows no indication of power. An easy way to check this is to turn the mouse upside-down and look at the red led light that illuminates the desk surface for the optical camera (This is most typically red, on particular models it can be other colors). If it's red and lit, then your mouse is receiving power. If that's the case, the problem could be that your mouse is simply not synchronizing with your system, or that it is not properly installed.

If the red light is not turning on, then the mouse is in fact defective. There is little to repair physically with optical mice, or mice in general. If you've ensured that the mouse has new batteries (not just old ones from out of the desk drawer that were new last year) and it is completely lifeless, I would say it's defective and should be replaced.

Hope that helps.

Dell optiplex gx260

Reference the Power LED States
Dell OptiPlex and Dimension computers and Dell Precision workstations have incorporated the use of the multi-state power button LED as a hardware status indicator. The power button LED illuminates in two different colors and can also blink, which allows for indication of five different system operation states. (Table 1)
LED State
System State
Steady Yellow The power supply is functioning, but the system is not processing data. This may indicate an issue with the system board or CPU. Blinking Yellow The power supply is receiving power from the source but is unable to properly distribute it to the components. This may indicate a power supply problem. Steady Green This generally indicates that the system is functioning normally. However, if problems are detected with installed components, the system may initiate a beep code. Blinking Green The system is in a Standby ACPI state. Off The system power is off.
