Sir
there can be 2 problems with your phone

  1. your has been totally leaked . it can only be corrected by replacing the battery. try replacing the battery.
  2. it has been off for last 2 years . May be the collected layer of dust has acted as insulator and is not allowing the current to pass through it. Pls visit any servicing shop and tell them to clean it form inside.
thankyou for using fixya

I had this problem a few months ago. I shut it down and removed the battery over night, and it was fine when I turned it on the next morning.

First you need to measure battery voltage with a multimetre to diagnose and repair. Post battery voltage and we can star from there!

Wont charge

I had a similar problem with my nokia. The charger was faulty. Nokia replaced the charger (and upgraded the software) under warranty and it works fine now.

Cell phone wont open fater a full night of charge.

You might have overcharged it. hope that you can find a solution. but by overchanging a phone you can fry the battery or the phone. charge it only until full and unhook the minute it says charge complete.

good luck

Charged, wont turn off/on

Try switching off the phone leave it off for some time and then switch it off...

If this doesnt remove the battery and put it back on... and then switch on the cell phone...

This must do the trick...

A small piece of advice mate... Never charge your phone for a whole night... Just put the cell phone for charge for some 2 - 3 hrs or till the batteries are fully charged... Your cell phone's battery would become weak if you charge for a considerably longer duration than required... And i am pretty sure that the problem you got now is joust because of that...

Hope this helped...

Did you try taking the battery out for a couple minutes, putting it back in, and trying again?
