My brake lights are not working all the time on my 2000 lumina I replaced light bulbs and brake light switch and still not working just every once in awhile. What can I do??

On most models the brake light circuit runs thru the turn signal switch. The third brake light does not. So it could be a problem with the turn signal switch.
A ground problem would also affect the parking lights.

Brake lights don't work when headlights are on. When brake is pressed turn signals go fast and when brake is pressed when headlights are on they are so dim you can't see them plus turn signals...

{: ) Looks like your lightings got haywired. Have you had vehicle repairs recently? Anyway, it seems that you have poor grounding connections for the affected lightings. Some circuits share common ground, and ground terminals are strategically distributed on the vehicle. If these grounds don't have good contact with the body, chassis, or engine ground, circuit functions are badly affected. Thats why these ground points should be inspected and kept clean and tight, maintain that good wire and terminal contacts.
We can start with G100 located at the Left Front of the Engine Compartment on the left front body mount. See diagram below:

wyet_helps_24.gif Check out also G401 which is located in the chassis harness, mounted to the left rear Body mount. This ground point is shared by the rear lamps like the brakes, reverse, and rear signal lamps.
If possible check also other ground points that you may visually come across while on your search. Be sure also that fuses are all inspected good.
I hope we get lucky in finding and fixing a certain lamp function, if not all. Goodluck.

My fone fell into water. well everything works now except the reception. I have no service and cant seem to get any signal. how do i fix this?

The phone will have to be opened and cleaned. There is probably corrosion due to the liquid damage shorting out some of the pins on the motherboard. You can clean it using an old toothbrush and some denatured alcohol. If this doesn't work, then the RF ic or port has probably gone out. They will have to be replace by your local repair shop.

N 97 Gps not working

hard reset your fone...before doing that though, sync all your contacts, msgs, pre-installed apps. Hard reset doesn't format mass memory so stuff in your mass mem will stay intact - maps, apps in mass memory, photos, videos etc. Hard reset is a good tool if you want to ease up the fone memory...you will need hard reset sometimes anyways because the n97 tends to freeze - its fone memory fills up somehow when you download apps even though u r installing them on mass memory.

to hard reset:

1. turn your fone off
2. press caps, delete, space and power button at the same time.
3. fone restarts and is reset.

Hard resetting somehow eases up the GPS signal. I did that and now it connects in seconds (maybe its got to do with fone memory being cleared up). I also read this in a blog somewhere.

Thnx a lot for the soln still i have a query

ok this is it,, problems like yours, that i have been encounter was always memory stick fault, that's alway's been, also with the other fones,, and erikson in my xperience and knowledge virus have no effect for them. even if you have virus on your memstick it's not affecting them. nokia on the other hand always get affected by it, and it shows and we can see it, but ericson not yet encountered seeing in the fone. but memstick yes...well ive tried a lot of test, with the nokia w/ virus transfer some data to erikson, or even the virus itself to check if the fone get affected by it, but no can do man it wont affect the ericson, i've tried a lot of times.. just like my phone now, i've got k750i, and n73 , ive tried this 2 also passing virus to both of them.. but no effect to ericson but to nokia.. shoot....and to reset your fone , go to menu, settings, and look for master reset. code (0000) if you have your own code hit it...
