When I press the foot pedal down, the machine starts "whrring" like it's gonna start sewing. But the needle gets stuck like there is a problem with it going up and down. I move the needle with the wheel on the side of the machine, and it is stiff. Is there something i am supposed to be oiling? I checked the bobbin and it is all clean. There is no threads stuck or anything. In fact, I just put a newly threaded bobbin in the machine. Please Help!!!!
Is the knob on the side, where you loosen the needle to rewind the bobbin, tightened? Also, there may be some threads in the bobbin case messing things up. Unplug the machine if you are checking the bobbin case.

Instructions on oiling your hook (the only area suggested for the user to oil) is located on page 40 of your instruction manual.
