does your video player support the Mp4 video files? if it can,you can check the resolution is whether right or wrong. if it can not, just use a video converter to convert the videos to the right format for it. Here is the Best video converter i have ever used.
Are you trying to play a burned DVD or a purchased/rented DVD? If so, the movie files will be in a different format. (e.g. .avi or .mpg versus VOB files). Some dvd players will play burned dvds, the key is to look the acronym DIVX. This ensures that the dvd player will play .avi and .mpg files.
Supported Audio Formats Audio CD, MP3 Supported Video Formats DVD Number of Audio Channels 4 Channels Included Units In-Dash Player, In-Dash Monitor, Amplifier Supported Media Types DVD-R, DVD-RW, CD-R, CD-RW Monitor Size 6.5 inch Touch Panel With Touch Panel
Just stick with these formats and it should work fine...are you trying to view burned movies or something. From the looks of it, it should play any DVD or CD just fine. Try to steer clear of those formats you listed.
I dont know what car you've got but,You need to hook up the blue amp remote wire for the antenna, when you switch to radio the antenna signal turns your car amplifier on and you get audio and when you switch to cd/dvd it switches it off because your car is wired that way, its a common issue with Mercedes etc.
At audiovox.com has some upgrade files for the jensen vm9312 that is supposed to fix this problem. First you have to find the vm9312 and then click on software updates. Audiovox makes Jensen products i believe.
according to the book there is no wma support on this model only mp3. video formats supported are svcd and vcd - most windows media video files and .avi files can be converted to these formats (ask if you need help with this)
