Jensen VM9312 problems with mp3 cd's and avi DVDs

When playing either of those 2 formats, the audio/video stutters, or cuts off the end of the file. Anything I can do to stop this?

Try cleaning the laser with a CD player cleaning kit....keep in mind Jensen is low-end equipment at best.

if it can,you can check the resolution is whether right or wrong.
if it can not, just use a video converter to convert the videos to the right format for it.

No se en que formato o velocidad debo quemar mis dvd para que los reprodusca mi jensen 9312, ya que siempre se congela el video

Yes, change the format of the video dub when burning a DVD to JPEG in order stop the freezing of the playback.

The 9312 will accept the following formats ;

  • Supported Video Formats: Video CD (VCD), DVD, SVCD
  • Supported Media Types: DVD Video, VCD, SVCD, DVD-R, DVD-RW, CD (Audio), CD-R, CD-RW, Picture CD

I am showing no disc on the dvd player but the audio and video are plugged in along with the remote plug in. Is their something I am missing.

Are you trying to play a burned DVD or a purchased/rented DVD? If so, the movie files will be in a different format. (e.g. .avi or .mpg versus VOB files). Some dvd players will play burned dvds, the key is to look the acronym DIVX. This ensures that the dvd player will play .avi and .mpg files.

My dvd player doesn't support wmv, avi, dat, mpeg, mp4 or 3gp. What should i do

This DVD player is supposed to support:

Supported Audio Formats Audio CD, MP3
    Supported Video Formats DVD
Number of Audio Channels 4 Channels
Included Units In-Dash Player, In-Dash Monitor, Amplifier
    Supported Media Types DVD-R, DVD-RW, CD-R, CD-RW
    Monitor Size 6.5 inch
    Touch Panel With Touch Panel

Just stick with these formats and it should work fine...are you trying to view burned movies or something. From the looks of it, it should play any DVD or CD just fine. Try to steer clear of those formats you listed.

It can't read dvd disc, but if i'm using an mp3/cd its fine

Was this a burned dvd or a store bought one? Sounds like the laser that reads dvd is dirty, try to play another dvd and see what happens after cleaning.

Sound to radio but no sound to cds or dvds

I dont know what car you've got but,You need to hook up the blue amp remote wire for the antenna, when you switch to radio the antenna signal turns your car amplifier on and you get audio and when you switch to cd/dvd it switches it off because your car is wired that way, its a common issue with Mercedes etc.
