When power is turned on,led lights and power light blink rapidly, accompanied by a rapid clicking.Nothing comes up on screen.Nor do any of the control buttons have an effect.

I have a similar problem. I cannot use any of the controls including the on and off switch. I can pull the plug and plug it back in and the same clicking sound occurs and also the green led next to the hard drive light flickers.

I have this issue too. I know that it is a power supply issue because checking the voltages at the disk drive power connector yields strange out of spec voltages... not even close to 5V & 12V.
The bad power will often take out the drive. I have to trace the circuit upstream to see where it is going bad. Please let me know if you guys pinpoint the failing component before I do. Mike

Hello sunrisepmp, i bought the model lorex l19wd and i have some problems with the remote connection. i can`t view my cameras remotely...

Locally everything work perfect but when i try to establish a remote connection, the lorex client 7.0 tell me that the connection is sucessfully but i can`t see any image.

I`ve a linksys wrt54G router and a speedstreem 4200 modem, i connect the system directly to the modem, also i create an DDNS Account (i had a doubt about the mac adress that you have to put at the form, i filled with the mac of the system) and i configured the system with the information that you sent me to my email, like the manual said...

Thank You

Plug in and red light flashes and makes a click sound

How many times this standby/power light blinks at one time switch ON? Count it carefully. These blinks are fault indication, and known as blinking codes. From the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON; you can get an idea about the faulty circuit stage inside the TV. This will make repair easy. Sharp model lc-20sh1u won't turn on, just makes a clicking sound and indicator light flashes red.

The clicking sound may be a power relay coming on and then off--problem indicates a trouble in the main power supply.

Twilight sentinel will not work; now headlight and tail lights won't come on; interior lights still work with knob. Do you think it is the F-switch? Also, where can I get a schematic of how to ins

It's probably the lighting control module , but without doing some electrical testing that is just a guess !
Battery positive voltage (B+) is applied at all times to the lamp control module (LCM) through the underhood junction block HDLP MaxiFuse® and CKT 1242 (RED).
When you place the headlamp switch in the HEAD position, the headlamps input to the LCM is grounded. The LCM then applies battery positive voltage (B+) through the underhood junction block HDLOBML fuse and HDLOBMR fuse, which feed the left low beam headlamp and the right low beam headlamp respectively. When you activate the headlamp dimmer switch by pulling on the multifunction lever until the switch clicks, CKT 524 (PPL) is grounded to the LCM. The LCM then removes battery positive voltage (B+) from the low beam headlamps and supplies battery positive voltage (B+) through the underhood junction block HDHIBML fuse and HDHIBMR fuse, which feed the left high beam headlamp and the right high beam headlamp respectively.

Twilight Sentinel Circuit Description
Twilight sentinel determines whether the daytime running lamps (DRL), or the exterior lamps and the low beam headlamps at full intensity should be on based upon the signal of the ambient light sensor. When the ambient light sensor detects daytime, the twilight sentinel turns on the DRL. When the ambient light sensor detects darkness, the twilight sentinel turns on the exterior lamps and the low beam headlamps at full intensity. The twilight sentinel also keeps the lamps on for a delay period of 3 to 180 seconds under the following conditions:
• The vehicle is in PARK.
• The ambient light sensor detects darkness.
• The ignition switch is turned to the OFF position.
You may turn off the twilight sentinel manually. When it is dark and the gear selector is in PARK, pushing the twilight sentinel switch to OFF will turn off the headlamps and exterior lamps. Pushing the twilight sentinel switch to OFF again will turn on the headlamps and the exterior lamps. If the gear selector is not in PARK, pushing the twilight sentinel switch will have no effect.
The F- switch is just an input from the LCM - lamp control module .
Do you know how to test control module inputs an outputs ? Very easy to fry a module if you don't know how to do it .
Also have a full scan of all modules on the vehicle , could have DTC'S - diagnostic trouble codes stored . Not for the OBD 2 engine computer . The instrument cluster , BCM , LCM can all set codes too, related to lighting an someother thing's .
ECM Inputs and Outputs Diagnosis

Electric Testing Techniques You Need to Know

You can find free wiring diagrams here http://www.bbbind.com/free_tsb.html Enter vehicle info. year , make , model and engine ! Under system click on lighting ,then under subsystem click headlamps . Click the search button then the blue link . The first diagram you will see at the top the power supply to the LCM , down a little you will see the headlamp switch , ambient light sensor . Now if you want to start replacing thing's without testing good luck !

I use Omron H3CR 8pin to my CCTV in my car. I use pin 2 for ground, pin 7 for ignition, pin 4&5 for direct current from battery and pin 8 to +ve CCTV. My problem is when I off the engine the timer is...

I don't have exact schematic for your 8-pin timer.
Use multimeter read ohms and voltage from pin socket to pin socket.
Use multimeter set to ohms to read continuity of pins on timer.
Pin timer relays have NO NC pins.
Some pins are Normally Open (no current flows until timer turns on)
The other pins are Normally Closed (current flows until timer turns on, and when timer turns on, this circuit turns off)

Hi,

It seems that something is wrong with the dvr. Maybe transport damage. You need to get it checked by a professional.

sounds like there is a short somewhere. you need to start checking things with a multi meter, could be a bad switch. I would recommend picking up a factory service manual for your vehicle off of ebay. If you need any further assistance let me know.
Thanks,
