My memory card micro sd cannot been formatted in my phone and computer.when I delete all file like music and photo,i turn off and turn on my phone back, all the file still exist.what the problem with my memory card?
My micro sd card is not being formatted by my phone nor my computer. Ive been to disk manager and it recognizes the disk drive but says that the card is unreadable. What should i do to fix this or is there somthing wrong with my micro sd card?
when i put my memory card in my phone it will format it but when i put it in the adapter into the computer to put files on it it tells me to reformat it. When i try to do this it gives me an error. I have tried FAT, FAT 32and FSTS and none of them work. My memory card is brand new and worked the first time i tried to use it but wont work anymore. If it does work and I put the files on my card when i put it back into my phone it cant read them and says they are in the wrong format

plug the device up to the computer with the micro sd installed and open to view files.........next save the music to the music folder in DCIM. there ya go.....and if you have a micro - mini sd adapter then you can just pop it into your computer after you have formated it on your device. But remember that if you do it out of the phone you will have to format the card by going to the sd menu and selecting format.
kk to add music make sure you syn the phone and the cp do the data and all then put .mp3 on all the media files and see if it works. Then if that doesnt go to computor format the card and then put it in the phone. Otherwise you need new stuff.
well...all you should know about the micro SD card is that you should format it, when it's inserted in the computer's card reading/writing unit... once (the first format) and don't put any file in it...insert it in the phone, and format it again (formatting is rewquiring FAT 16, or FAT file system in both formatting processes) after that, reinsert it in the computer's card reader/writer and find a way to defrag it...after that do a check with a disk checking tool, or program...and after all is ok...you can put any file type on, insert it in the phone, and restart the phone...if this doesn't work...the card is either bad, or the phone does not support it's memory size...
You have to format your micro SD memory card with your phone first before you can download files to it. With the micro SD memory card in your phone. 1)go to menu 2) go to settings & tools 3)go to memory 4)select card memory 5)***SELECT OPTIONS*** ---this will ask you if you want to format your card select YES, if there is a phone password it would be your last 4 digits of your number.
Now eject the memory card from you phone. Now when you put the memory card to your computer you should see the sub menus...my pics..my videos...my music...my sounds. Now all you have to do is just click and drag your music and photos to these folders.
Then when you add the memory card to your phone it will see all the music, photos, etc...
i found something to fix it. or at least it worked for me http://hddguru.com/download/software/HDDGURU-Low-Level-Format-Tool/LLFsetup.2.36.1181.exe Install that, then run the program and CAREFULLY select your card from the formatting list then do a low level format Then format it on windows or phone or whatever
PLEASE BE CAREFULL NOT TO SELECT YOUR HARD DISK IN THE PROGRAM. IT WILL VAPORIZE ALL YOUR DADA
Format the SD card in the PC, Make sure the songs are in MP3 format, (In XP use windows audio converter to change if needed), make sure the MP3 files have a bit rate of 128 kbps or less. Make sure the phone is set to 'data connection' not 'memory
card connection' because the phone cant see the files, connect the SD memory card to the PC, use 'my computer' to view folders, you should have an 'audio folder' if your MP3's are contained in folders try removing each MP3 file from its folder and place directly into audio folder (cut & paste) delete the empty folders, you can organise any playlist's on the phone. If possible download WMP11 & Moto multimedia Plug-in, (makes loading a bit easier). Chris
Did you try to format the card in the device thru Windows Media Player, or Rhapsody?
If so, try formatting it thru My Computer instead. My Computer>Device Name>Right Click and select format.
It is most likely NOT a virus if you have only put music on the device. It is most likely a corrupt file, or a database error.
Best of Luck.
