Question about Dell Dimension 3000 PC Desktop
I have a Dell Dimension 3000 with Celeron. I installed a tuner (TV Wonder 100) a few years back. Recently I loaded some Microsoft upgrades and now I get an error msg when I open the tuner. It tells me to go to ATI to download updated drivers, when I do this it says the same error. When I do a system restore back to a time before the changes it works again, although it's always had some bugs.
Is there a way to upgrade software and/or drivers and not have this issue? Can I upgrade the tuner, or is my system to old?
I have an older ATI turner as well and the older cards do not work too well with Windows Xp or Vista. You may be able to find a driver that works by performing a Google search for it, otherwise the cards are very inexpensive right now and you can pick up a new one, probably with HD, for less than $100.
