Some of my dash lights, (the what gear are you in lights, the odometer, the radio station/clock light) started blinking this morning and won't stop. There is no audible alarm, nor does the engine indicate that it is running hot.
the for lights on the dash that have to do with the back window whiper and the air circulation have been blinking and we got a new battery and they are still blinking....
Changing the battery probably caused some of it, as items will need to be reset. Different vehicles have different steps to perform. Just another one of those things the manufacturers forget to tell you I guess, and they're all guilty of it. Here's a link you may want to look at, but make sure you read all the alternative solutions too. Hopefully a trip to the dealer for the secret(s) won't be necessary when your done reading it. http://www.allpar.com/fix/codes-climate.html

there is a regulator for the display brightness, you may have it turn'd down or it has stopped working;. it controls the brightness at which the dash lights are. usually has a speedo sign on it. goes up and down. it works with the main light and is conecter to them on the same lighting board if it has gone then a new light swtch control switch will be needed.
1 Turn key to position 1 2 Press odometer button and while doing so turn the key to position 2 3 Hold odometer button until hazard triangle in center of dash flashes, when this occurs, release the button. 4 Start the car and the light should be off.
Radio station presets will be lost after this reset so write down the ones you like before beginning procedure.
Start with your fusebox and look for bad fuses. I suspect if dash lights out you have no tails lights either. They're usually on same circuit. And if by any chance you have trailer wire/plug in the back, check to make sure that's not dangling, shorted or corroded.
this is a common problem and the dash cluster must be removed and sent out for repair, cost is about $175 to replace the LED (Light emitting diode) display that has burned out, this is a faxtory defect as far as this expert is concerned, it is not a fuse problem.
internal lights in the radio, call your local stereo shop & asked them if they can send your radio out for repair. It may cost less just to let them replace the radio then a repair.
There is a tiny little peanut shaped light bulb inside the radio that provides the light for the dial, it is replaceable, you will need to remove the radio, then pull the top cover off the radio chassis, the bulb is under the cover.
same problem blinking lights but 05 dodge ram wont start
