I just had this problem happen to me today. If you lift the cover off of the bobbin case, on the lower right side of the black plastic holder the bobbin goes into there is a small bump on the outside. This little bump needs to be outside of the small metal part on the right with the screw in it. What happens is that the metal part accidentally hooks onto and gets stuck on this bump. So, you may have to unscrew that part a tiny bit to loosen it, but make sure the metal hook-part is to the right of the plastic bump and you should be good to go!

THis is very frustrating it happens to me to for some reason the bobbin casing moves out of the chamber and this prevents the machine to work futher, i can put the bobbin in and it will last long or not so long sometimes i am lucky and it doesnt happen for a couple of days.

Needle is stuck in down position and manually the wheel won't move

Try removing the bobbin case. Usually the thread is holding the needle in place, therefore the hand wheel will not operate. Once you get the thread released, it should all come free.

Needle 1/ was working ok then a noise had to power down, Now it will not let me do anything just keeps telling me to power down all the time. it is a vicious circle. any cluesTh

you may have knocked it out of time. when you heard the noise it might have been the needle hitting the fabric to hard which can sometimes knock your machine out of time. you may have to find a local sewing machine store that fixes machines. if you find one they should be able to repair it for little to no cost.

Hi, my machine does not allow feed fabric - everytime i sew it starts and gets stuck or if not the fabric does not move forward. what do i do?

Are you sewing very thick fabrics? What kind of needle and thread are you using? Have you cleaned the lint from around/under your feed dogs? Are you using spools of thread or cones? Spools should go on the spool holder on your machine and unwind from the side, but cones need a holder and should unwind from the top. Have you tried cleaning your bobbin casing?

My janome 11000 memorycraft's needle threader has jammed in the down position and cannot be moved

Thanks to floraq803, we have our 11000 working again. The needle threader was stuck in the down position. We turned off the machine, and turned the wheel (which controls where the needle is) until the needle threader bar was straight (approximately 1/2 way between the needle being all the way down and all the way up). Turned on the machine and the threader came back up again. Now back to sewing.

The machine sews normally then once in awhile the material gets stuck in one position, does not move. The bobin thread seems to be a bit tangled in the bobbin case. What is going on?

Your bobbin may be wound uneven, try winding a fresh bobbin and make sure that you are using the same weight thread in the top and bottom. And try a fresh needle.
