Sorry to hear that. For the amount of trouble to return the jeep and try to get a warranty honored, I would look in the phone book for a local welder and have the repair done. It shouldn't cost more than $25.

Magna cart became very hard to open & finally a part broke off & now one wheel no longer locks in place. Is this product fixable ? Is it in warranty ?

that depends on your purchase , did you get a warranty with it how old is it , is it out of warranty or new , tell them it was broke when you bought and just tried it ,and it fell apart if it is new , if you broke it they may not cover it anyhow , and anything can be fixed what did you brake

2001 jeep cherokee steering box is ripping through my frame

If the weld is done properly, it will penetrate through to the other side, All the grease, oil, contaminants must be removed before the weld is made. I mean ALL the contaminants! Then, with a drill motor and a wire brush scrub it thoroughly. blow it off with compressed air and wash it with acetone. I would do everything I could to ensure the back side is every bit as clean, Pressure washing is good. And, of course, remove the steering gear. If the holes are distorted, hammer them flat.

it will start to rust immediately. So, do this right before welding. Then, wire brush it again and paint it with rustoleum, undercoat or something of that nature, Good luck!

Tank leaks can they be welded

Hi there.
Before having someone to repair tank leak, try to contact first the distributor or much better the manufacturer of the equipment and verify if the unit's tank is still covered by their warranty policy. Fryer tanks as far as I know has much longer warranty period, some manufacturer extend the warranty of their tank up to 10 years, but this is of course under normal use.
Leak on tank can be welded, just make sure that the one who will be doing the welding job is an expert and authorized on that field, otherwise, leak will not be sealed properly and accidents could occur.

I was mowing and all of a sudden it stopped steering. The front left wheel moves when I move the steering wheel. The front right doesn't. I can move the front right without moving the steering...

Sounds like the tie rod has came loose or broke, look for a rod that connects the working wheel to the steering and then compare it to the non working side and you will be able to see what is missing

Hand truck tires

Go to your local hardware store like ace or true value. They normally are in the parts boxes near the bolt section. Be sure to measure your axle diameter & get the right size. Rick

1995 Cherokee Country driver's side door weld breaks, also ALB

Weld broke twice likely because job wasn't done well. Shop didn't reenforce post when making repair. I also recommend painting over weld to cover any newly exposed metal after repaired. Don't know of any can check nat highway traffic safety board. Sounds like your brakes would work better with abs disconnected (we all drove with no abs for how many years??) I'd do this 'till I found a good cure. On the hose thing... Pull the hose back into the cavity on both door and body. Splice with a longer piece than you need and leave the spliced ends inside the cavities, not in the "flex" area between the door & body. Good luck!
