Question about Office Equipment & Supplies
Dear all printer and fax User's .....I think i,m here to support and
tell you the solutions on printer problems..You don't need to blame the
manufacturers some times..but some times the hardware or the software
of the printer might cause you the problem..
So here is my knowledge to share with you on here ..
Well...i know the problem happens to many hp printer's cos i have encounter such a problem with my staff in the company having a problem of Paper jam...So if you knew that you check the printer and there is no Squeeze paper in the Jam..but still yet continue with the messages saying ..Paper Jam Errors...The Next solution i will tell you to do is..
Firstly..Off the Printer ..and On it back once again..immediately it Power ON ..Long Press the Power Button and Print Button at the same time until all the LED light keep blinking at the same time..till it stopped by itself and must remain only the Green light blinking ..which is Print LED light ..not the Amber colour light .... But When you try that, but seems only the READY LED(Amber Co lour ) blinking and keep saying Paper JAM Errors on the screen ..
Second ..The second step you will take is...Just power Off the printer and remove the Cartridge out ..removed the Debris and Clean all the adjusting area of the panel which contact with the cartridge and the printer together with a clean handkerchief or pure white soften cloth..Make sure you dust and shake the cartridge as well..Because sometimes The Cartridge may be faulty but..the Errors will not say's... cartridge problem because the Ink is not yet to exhausted but the Cartridge is having a problem...
So,After doing all the cleaning processing...and you later set the cartridge back into the printer and power ON the printer but still the same problem............Please don't just waste much of your time by changing the Full Ink Cartridge with the same model....and power On the Printer ,,,,,,,,,I,m sure it will work and print out fine..Good luck .Please i need your Comment..
Note:But first Print out the...(Test Page) before printing your original document..ok
Because these same problem Occurred to one of my Company staff and as a Network and System Engineer,,This is the procedure i follows ..The printer is working till now as i,m writng you these solution..ok .hope it will work for you as well..just try it and get back to me with the Feedback .

I just had this problem with a Brother HL 1440 laser printer. I had opened the front, removed the drum, and pulled an entire sheet of paper out, but it refused to clear. I saw no bits of any paper anywhere, plus I knew there were no bits off of the paper I pulled.
After a lot of frustration, I found out that there is a way to open the back, too - a little door facing the wall - and there it was: another sheet of paper visible only from there!
Hope this helps someone...

I suggest you get a sheet of Card Stock (Heavy
paper) and place it in the feed way. Then press the print
button applying a slight amount of pressure on the Card Stock so it
will feed through the printer. The reason for this is in some cases I
have been able to clear the paper track of debris that was deposited there
Worth a try, as I have fixed a number of printers this way, saving costly repairs.
Hope this helps. Bud

This is a widely known problem with this printer and means the formatter board needs to be replaced. Save yourself the cost and headache of repairing and move on. The problem initially began as a random situation where I would have to turn the printer off and back on to get it to print. This eventually progressed to the problem you all are reporting which is the amber toner and jam lights on. I replaced the formatter board on mine and after one month the problem returned with the new formatter board needing replaced as well.
Of course, HP acts as if they've never heard of the problem. This company's integrity and quality has gone from number 1 to dead last.

not take apaper
not feed a paper
hey im tuval from israel,
first of all im sorry about my english :)
and now to the point.......
look, if you know where the feeding wheel its good (like elastic material over this wheel) , now take a"nail cleaner" (aceton)
and clean this wheel (the elastic thing), i did thet and the problem is gone!!!
after the cleanning send 15-20 empty doc to print (remember - empty, dont use you ink - you dont have to - save money), if all the paper is out from the printer,
you fix that.
i hope i help you.
hope fore replay.... :)

What this light sequence means that the printer has a paper jam.
When a paper jam occurs, the printer stops and the operator panel's Paper Jam light and Continue button lights come on. Press and release Continue twice quickly to display the specific secondary error paper jam light sequence.
How to clear Paper Jam
?· Press Continue button twice quickly to see the secondary error code.
To get the secondary error codes
?· When the Error light (!) and Continue button lights are both on, a secondary error has occurred.
?· When the Paper Jam light (4th light) and Continue button lights are both on, a paper jam secondary error has occurred.
?· Press and release Continue button twice quickly to display the secondary error code light sequence.
Press Continue button to resume printing once all the jammed pages are cleared from the paper path.
We recommend that you clear the entire paper path when a paper jam occurs.
To clear a paper jam:
1 If you are feeding paper from a tray, remove the tray, and then remove any jams.
2 Open the front cover and remove the print cartridge assembly.
NOTE: Do not leave the print cartridge assembly exposed to direct light for an Extended period of time. Extended light exposure can cause print quality problems.
3 Remove any jams in the area behind the print cartridge assembly.
4 Lift the flap at the front of the printer and remove any jams beneath the flap.
5 Open the rear exit and remove any jams.
6 After you have cleared the jams, reinstall the print cartridge assembly, make sure all printer covers and trays are closed, and then press Continue button to resume printing.
NOTE: The printer reprints the pages that caused the paper jam.

Clearing paper jam in a printer is simple almost seven step
procedure depending on the printer. Paper jam is the term used to refer to the
scenario where your paper fails to come out of the printer during the print
process. When you send a document to the printer, normally the printer prints
out the document on a paper; then you can pick up your printed copy. When the
paper gets stuck in the printer, it is said that paper has jammed in the
printer "paper jam".
Even if you are not a technical person, you can conveniently
clear paper jams. All you need is to follow the set of procedures outlined
Good luck & God bless!
