How to change starter on 1994 jeep wrangler

i answered it finally, in 1 of your 3 posts.
with FSM pages, and step by step tests.
the circuit is very very simple.
battery >>> fuse> 5sp-rev-switch>>>lamps>>> ground.
a voltmeter finds this is 5min work.

If it won't crank, check clutch safety switch and cables for the starter.
If it cranks but won't start, you'll need to find out if it is ignition or fuel to know where to look next.

check chiltons manuals, they usually have wiring diagrams in the back of them to show you all you need. its hard to find online ones. you always have to pay for those ones

I have tried many times to write detail step by step instructions but this site limits the size of the response to the point that I have to break it up to several parts that confuses people. So please forgive me for redirecting you to another site with the answer.

i have a 1989 wrangler. for no resan i know of the head light tail lights and interior lights stoppede working? anoone know why?

have u ck out the ignition switch [not the key & tumblers],, or the neutral safety switch to see if u have power ,,also seen broken wire at solenoid on starter too,,hope it helped,,

your flywheel is probally missing teeth. Take a socket and put on the crankshaft pulley and turn it about half a turn. Then try to start it,it should start. If it does or tries you will need another flywheel.

it is accessable from the passenger side just under the dash. remove the glove box to help with access, held in with four 8mm screws, remove screws and it just pulls right out.

On most, you need to remove all bolts around the perimeter of the pan, (You may want to remove starter to get to fasteners there) then slide a paint scraper between the pan and block to break the seal. Generally there is enough room to get the pan out. If you need a bit more room, support the transmission with a jack (use a piece of plywood on top to avoid bending anything) remove both engine mount through bolts and raise engine slightly (not too much or you will break something)

It should be just 80/90 gear lube unless ya got a locking diff but most just take 80/90
