Question about HP PhotoSmart C4280 Laser Printer

1 Answer

My printer is hooked up to my laptop but it will not print.

I have sent a document to print but it is not printing. It shows an error message of "error" but no other details.

What do I need to do? My printer is turned on and hooked up to my laptop.

Thank you.

To save lots of time and effort, I'd uninstall the printer and reinstall it. Be sure you install the software before you plug the printer in, or you'll get a bad installation.

Due to the fact that no error messages appear and the print job reaches the printer, I believe that the formatter board is faulty. If this is the case ( and it is 90% of the time ) the most economical thing to do is purchase another printer.
