Question about NetGear DG834G Router
I have a home network consisting of a Dell PC and a Dell Laptop. I was using a 2Wire wireless gateway/DSL Modem without problem and both computers could share files and access Internet w/o problem. The 2Wire died and I replaced it with a Netgear DG834Gv4 ADSL/wireless router. It installed easily and I was able to get Internet access on both PC and Laptop, but now neither computer can see or share files with the other. Any suggestions? Do I need to disable the firewall on the DG834G? (I use Norton Internet Security and its firewall on both the PC and the laptop.) Thanks for any help.

click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

At the bottom right hand corner of your screen, you have a wireless conenction icon. right click and view available wireless network...if you see your network there. connect to that network, if secured, then call netgear to verfiy what is your network key. if it is unsecure then you can log on right away.
