I would first check to see what your wireless security and firewall settings are. A customer of mine had the same problem and it turned out to be his security key was wrong and he had 2 firewalls on his lap tap that caused a conflict.

The router doesn't send signals to a printer. The Linksys transmits a radio signal recieved by the wireless adapters on other devices, if your printer has wireless compatibility it must be setup on the printer, in the wireless settings. I don't think it's a Linksys issue. It a computer software issue. If you post the Computer Make, Model, and your OS, the Printer Make, mode,l I will try to help you. Is this the first time using the Printer?
Generally speaking if your @ light on the front of your router is not lit then your telephone line is not enabled for ADSL however you will still be able to goto 192.168.0.1 and check this is an example of the screen display
ADSL LINE FAILURE LINE NOT PHYSICALLY CONNECTED
ERROR : Return Code 100
This also can happen if the twisted pair copper wire that is used to send the signal into your router has been disconnected or there is a short outside your house.
NOTE: That even if BT reconnect and complete a silent line test on your telephone line from your house from the Master Test socket behind your faceplate this doesn't mean that you will have a Broadband Signal from your ISP.
Under normal operation you should see the following screen click show statistics, this line is connected at 3.3MB
if the wireless light on the router is still lit, try changing the channel of the wireless router by getting to http://192.168.1.1 (i hope the IP addressof your rotuer hasn't been changed yet)
then login, leave username blank then admin for password.
Click wireless settings tab then change the channel, dont forget to save the changes :)
One desktop and 1 laptop are working that means your router must be working.
1 desktop is not working. Is that wired to the router or wireless ?
If it is wired then check the light on the router, If your computer is connected to port 1 of the router then port 1 light should lit up. If the light is not lit up then check the connection. If the light is lit up then check the IP address on the computer.
If it is wireless desktop then check the wireless connection.
Is your desktop pc still working fine.., clear your preferred wireless networks in your laptop, try searching for the wireless network again, check if you are abe to pick up any other wireless network in your laptop, so that you can conclude whether the problem is with the laptop or the router..if not try reconfiguring your wireless settings in your wireless router and check it out ,that will fix your problem..all the best..
Change the Channel mode from mixed to B-G only....u bought a new N series Router ....thats something gr8..but ur NIC are still on B-G Technology compatible....so either to need N series NIC or u need to configure ur linksys to B-G mode only...so that it will resolve the compatibilty issue from ur NIC.....Hope ..u will be able to do it...or u can take the help of linksys to fix it in this way
If other wireless hosts are connecting to the wireless router with no problem, and the windows laptop intermittently connects, then this seems to indicate a problem with the wireless card in your windows laptop. If the device is still under warranty, it should not be a problem to contact the laptop vendor and have it replaced.
