Your going to have to pull off the waste toner bottle, delivery cover (buffer or internal finisher), the right swinging door, fixing unit, cleaning blade, heat shield, move the fuser drive gears. Then you have one screw on the transfer belt assy that sit behind the cleaning blade and one on the front next to the screw that hold the cleaning assy on. Then 4 screws on the side by the fuser. One connector and the whole thing should come out

Thread irc 3220 error e000012 0001

Your ITB unit (Intermediate Transfer Belt) may need changed. Try removing it first and rotating by hand.

If it sticks, you are probably looking at a new unit.

The link above is for the iRC3220 but Canon codes are generally all the same.

You may find there's a tear in the belt and this is why it is not working properly.

Each time I start the copier, it comes up with error message: E000070-001 . My cannon model is IR2570C

It's the itb home position sensor.
Need to remove the itb assembly and look for a torn or slipping transfer belt.
Also the roller support arms break on a regular basis which causes the belt to lose tension.

Please leave me a good rating, thanks! :)

Canon ir 3100 error code e000070-0001

the error code appears when a tension arm (front or rear) of the ITB tension roller is broken.check the tension arms (front and rear) for breakage. If either of the arms is broken, replace it with a new one.

E000070-0002

Hello,
this error is for ITB belt( transfer belt ). Probably because it needs to be changed along with the ITB cleaning blade.
In error, the 0002 means that second sensor cant read the Itb belt.
As first aid, you can clean the back of the Itb belt and the driving roller.

Hope that helps!

E000070 0002 problems

The error code pertains to the transfer belt home position sensor. There are white patches on the inside of the transfer belt that the sensor sees on each rotation. The patches could be dirty, the sensor could be dirty, the transfer belt could be damaged, and in some cases the transfer cleaning assy could be at fault. Probably will need a trained technican to fix this problem.

After 5 or 6 copies taken an error E000070-0202 and E000070-0101 will occured. what is the problem

E070 there is an error in the detection of ITB home position

00xx The home position of the intermediate transfer belt is not detected within
a specific period of time .
The ITB HP sensor is faulty.
Turn off the main power, and check the DC controller PCB and the
ITB HP sensor; then, turn on the main power.

01xx The period of time between when the home position of the intermediate
transfer belt is detected and the next home position is detected is longer
than specified .
The presence of a tear may have caused the sensor to wrongly identify it
as indicating the home position.
Turn off the main power, and check the drive of the intermediate
transfer belt; then, turn on the main power.

02xx The period of time between when the home position of the intermediate
transfer belt is detected and when the next home position is detected is
shorter than specified .
The intermediate transfer belt slips on the drive roller, causing a delay in
the timing at which the home position is detected.
Turn off the main power, and check the surface of the intermediate
transfer belt for a tear; then, turn on the main power.

03xx The detection of the home position of the intermediate transfer belt has
failed once.
ITB home position sensor B and ITB home position sensor A must occur
alternately; however, the same state has been detected continuously.
Turn off the main power, and check the DC controller PCB and the
ITB HP sensor; then turn on the main power.

Cannon IR 3100 CN Itermediate Transfer Belt error code E00070-000

The E00070-000 is not a ITB problem, but a full wastetoner. Open the front cover find the white bottle in the middle, remove the black screw, remove the cover over the top of the bottle and empty the bottle. Be sure to clean the top of the bottle so the sensor can see that the bottle is empty. Restart the copier.

Canon ir-c3100 copier error code

The ITB or Intermediat Transfer Belt is slipping or not being driven properly. It is NOT fun to take out, particularly if you have a finisher attached. If you have proffessional experience with copiers and are really determined, let me know and I may be able to set you up with a manual. Otherwise, call a pro.

Error E070 0002

I don't know which model you're having problems with but if it's an IR-C2058 the error has to do with the Transfer Belt. The 0002 says the transfer belt sensor ( S51 ) continues to detect the home postion for transfer belt. I don't know what kind of work you've done to the copier, if any, but the error will have to be cleared up first. Let me know what model and I can help alot more. Good luck.
