Time delay relay?

it does have time delay but only for loss of power or if someone plays with thermostat making it go off and on. some time delays have a dial to change length of delay. it would be placed in 24 volt circuit to make or break circuit to contactor.

Trying to find a dual capacitor for Intertherm a/c model # s3qa-048ka

That system uses a 40+5/370 capacitor. The Intertherm part # is 620888. You can also use a 40+5/440 cap. You can pick one up at a local dealer or distributor, or order online. Look at spending about $15 for the capacitor.

No, but has the unit always been loud? If not, then you may need to replace the motor before it goes bad. They will usually go out at the most inconvienient time! I'm a dealer for this product so I am extremely familiar with them. Hopefully this answers your question.

Compressor

if the unit does blow out cold air for a few minuets then quits it could be a low pressure cut out that will turn off the compressor because the unit is low charged mening there is a leak in the sealed system i would get a second opinion and show them this post
