you need to find or buy micro sd usb card reader/writer
put the card in the reader, either copy it or drag the file to the sd card reader and the music of file will copy, than after you are all done doing that make file in the directory copy all the info you put on your sd card as a backup file.

My computer which is a Compaq doesnt seem to have a slot to put the sandis adapter in. What do I need to get so that I can download music to my lg banter phone?? Please let me know what its called and...

By "sandis" adapter I'm assuming you mean SanDisk adapter. SanDisk is a company that produces flash memory for use in cameras, phones, and other portable devices. The adapter you're referring to adapts a Micro SD card (that fits in your phone) to a Standard SD card. The device you're looking for is an SD Card Reader - although they're generally found as part of a MultiMedia Card Reader. This is a device that plugs up to a USB port on your machine and allows you to access various types of removable media. Fortunately they're readily available and can be found at most large retail stores for under $15. I'm posting a link below to one available from just so you get an idea of what you're looking for. Best of luck!

How do i put music on my mp3 player? it is an magnovox 2GB.

It should have come with a usb cord or a chip that you remove. Plug the cord into the computer and it should show up as a drive, then you just drag your music over to it. The same is true if you have a memory chip, remove the chip, insert it a reader/writer, that comes on most newer computers, it will also show up as a drive and you would drag the music over. I hope this helps, good luck.

MicroSD memory chip

You need some form of memory card reader to interface with your computer. If you do not have a slot for it on your PC, you can purchase one for relatively cheap from any major computer retailer. Or, anyone who sells memory cards for that matter. Ensure it supports microSD (according to the photo and topic headline)

Good luck!

Where to I put the chip in my computer?

You may have to get a card reader that takes stuff off and puts stuff on the sd card that connects to the computer using a usb port because most computers do not have an area where you can insert the micro sd card.

Write protected error using Sandisk card in Digital Concepts CR-75 Reader

Try a different reader if you can - laptops comes with an SD reader sometimes. Or take it to a computer store or possibly radio shack would have one open to test.

Or just replace the card - 1gb cards are $20 now.
