How to resize the desktop? I cannot see the low bottom part of the desktop

I assume you're running Windows XP? Control Panel --> Display, Settings tab. Change the resolution using the slider. Choose different ones until you find one that works.

try using paint shop pro or some sort of picture editor and resize the image to what ever your desktop resolution is.

The LCD monitor has different image proportions from the old CRT monitor and all my images are stretched. How can this be corrected

go to your desktop and right click. select properties. choose the settings tab. resize you image. easy to do!!!

Desktop shrank and i can't get it to expand to the borders

Right click your mouse button on the desktop and choose properties. Then click on settings and then resize you resolution I like 1024 by 768

Monitor will not come out of auto adjust

do you have any other monitor
try it and resize resolution
if not

remete deskto to this computer from any other computer
and resize resolution

My desktop screen is bigger then my montior screen and i cant figure out the proper setting or even why it is happening

go to desktop ,rightclick on the desktop>settings
down side
you can select whatever size you want(resolution)
go to control panel>select display
also you can resize

Bottom half of monitor displays top half of desktop

You could try a different resolution for the monitor.It's possible the monitor cant support the resolution your trying to display your desktop at.

I think you need to check all capacitor in vertical section. Maybe there is a leaky capacitor, and one the cause of black bar.
