I have a ilo 32 inch tv and the tv fell in the floor and my cable cord was connected at the time but then after the fall the cable jack thing in the back of the tv got ripped out from the tv...is there a way that i can get it fixed or will i have to junk it?
You can put in a new tuner or if you are good you might be able to fix the one you have but anyway it needs a new tuner. This tv is made by funai FAX number is 614-497-2720 phone number is 614-497-2689 these are the numbers I have for them at this time they are in Lockbourne ,Ohio

Try plugging the "cable" into another tv ... if it still does it then its the cable.
are you turning up/down the sound on the Samsung or the Cable?
and what do you mean by "cable hook up"?
It's probably a write-off. The circuit board inside has been cracked so that some of the copper traces that connect parts have broken. This commonly happens around the area of the horizontal output transformer, which is heavy. The shock of the fall causes the transformer to bounce and breaks the board. Other areas too may have been damaged because of flexing. And worst, the picture tube can be damaged in a fall, so it either doesn't work at all or shows permanently distorted colors.
It's tough to find anyone willing to repair a set that's fallen. Many circuit board tracks are very narrow and hard to repair. Then it's difficult to know if all the damage has been found and repaired, so even if the set starts working a technician doesn't know if something else won't go wrong. And then there's that bad tube possibility; no technician likes to spend lots of time fixing a broken board only to find the set then needs a new tube. Trust me, this has happened to me several times during my career in TV shops.
Your best bet is to use this as an excuse to buy a new LCD or plasma TV. 40-inch models, a good size match for a 32-inch CRT (tube) model, are reasonably priced.
The color-coding used for the RCA connectors is nearly universal:
composite video - yellow
audio - red (right channel) and white (left channel)
component video - green (Y), blue (Pb) and red (Pr)
Also, these jacks are normally labeled in print as well, although it's sometimes hard to read the text on some equipment.
Match the connectors on your converter box to the corresponding connectors on the TV. If your converter box was one purchased with the $40 US Government coupon, it may not have the component video outputs. The only coupon-eligible boxes are the most basic models, and they sometimes have only RF (channel 3 or 4) and composite video outputs available.
1 try the video cord on other tv's if it works in color then it is the video jack on that tv. A quick fix might be running it through a box that goes into the cable hook up not the inputs. boxes are pretty cheap like 10 to 20 bucks
Is the connector a RCA (smooth outside with 1/8 inch hole) or 75 ohm type with threads? Also the 75 ohm type needs the correct allignment and length of wire...needs to be straight and no more than 1/8 inch beyond the threads.
If the jack on the set spins I hope you didn't try to use pliers to tighten the cable, if you didn't, return it to the retailer. Maybe you should return it, it's up to you, if you broke it and want to tell them that.
I recently purchased an ilo 32 inch tv and am having problems because when I first purchased it I had it connected to a cable box now I no longer have the cable box just the cable and am unable to hook it up because the connecter does not hook up to a regular cable cord is there a special connection that hooks it up directly to the cable cord? I read in the manual something about a F-type connector where can I get one?
The TV should have two ANT coax jacks in the back, one for air and one for the cable line. The one on the right side should be the one you want. It could be that you've plugged it into the left one, which will not work for line cable.
