Samsung RL39WBMS fridge/freezer

My fridge freezer is 4 years old and both packed in.If you switch off at mains, and switch back on,it reaches the working temperature then cuts out.but does not come back on.a Had Samsung repair technician and he pressed fridge and freezer buttons at same time which put it into a forced start.out.It reaches the working temperature and works perfect for 28 hours and then cuts out.It bleeps continually and is driving us up the wall. This has been like this for 10 weeks. Its had a new circuit board on technicians first visit, made no difference,on his second visit the sensors were replaced and made no difference. The samsung technician cannot getan answer from samsung to help us.This is not acceptable.Has anyone experienced the same problems and can assist us in any way before we give up and buy a new one.

SOURCE: Samsung RS2555SL evaporator is icing

Hi

If refrigerator is not cooling properly it can be due to a defrost timer, which is causing the fridge to go into defrost cycle. Usually it takes 45-60 minutes for refrigerator to come out of defrost cycle. If the timer is bad then it will not come out of defrost cycle and can result in this kind of issues. It can also occur due to defrost thermostat, it allows current to pass through it at temperatures of 20 to 30 degrees Fahrenheit and prevents current from passing through it at 40 to 60 degrees. This is difficult to test, though, because it takes a prolonged, very-cold temperature to turn it on. The defrost thermostat is snapped onto the top portion of the evaporator. The thermostat sends temperature information to the processor. The defrost heater must be replaced when replacing the thermostat.
1. Remove the lower fan duct work from the evaporator cover.
2. Remove the 1/4-in. evaporator cover screws and remove the evaporator cover.
3. Disconnect the defrost thermostat wiring connector.
4. Remove the defrost thermostat from the evaporator.

Hope this helps...please post back for further assistance.

Daniel

My Samsung RL39WBMS fridge on m fridge freezer keeps freezing food. Why is this happening all the time and how can I prevent it?

maybe the fridge is set on a colder setting and if that's not it then stick it on the lower shelves and that might help from not freezing because are fridge is the same way when it is stuck by the coolant fan

Have to slam freezer door to clear 88 error codes on samsung refrigerator

I am not certain on this, but my guess is that you have a problem with the door closed sensor, which should be attached to the door/ light actuating button. It may be faulty, or just out of adjustment. I assume that you have contacted Samsung about what error code 88 is. Do they have any other input? What doesn't make sense is that the fridge turns off. You would think that if the door sensor read "Open door" it would continuously run, rather than shutting off, unless it is causing an overload, or overheating condition. I have had good luck w/ Samsung tech dept., but they can be a little hard to reach. Hope this helps.

I have a Samsung refrigerator Model RT52EAMS which is 5 years old. It is working fine except that the light in the refrigerator is no longer working. The light in the freezer is still working well. How...

Please check the door switch and the bulb holders, in some cases it can be due to loose connection or a faulty switch on the door, The failure of the bulb is another issue but the main subject is how you can check and remove the bulb.

Samsung side by side not as cold as it should be all fans sound like they are working what to look for fridge only 4 years old pulled out back cleaned coil pack with compressor please help

We had a similar problem. SAMSUNG said to not set the freezer to the top range and the fridge to top range. If you set the freezer to the top range there is not enough cold air funneled to the fridge. We usually set the freezer to about 3 dots and the fridge to 4 or 5. Try that and see if it helps

Ice block forms bottom of freezer then leaks on 2 floor

This is usually because the self defrost hose has become clogged. Turn the unit off long enough to defrost the unit and get the ice out of the tube and blow out the tube and turn the fridge or freezer back on.
This should solve it for you.
Cheers
