Same here! It started doing it about 8 months or so after we bought it! It has gotten worse as it will only stay on for about 2 minutes. Cheap!!!

Same problem here! It started turning off after we had it for only about 8 months or so. It has gotten progressively worse and will now only stay on for 2 min or so. Piece of junk. Kids are so bummed.

I have the same problem here. I even let it sit for a couple months. Then the power stayed on for a half hour or so. But when I powered it back up, it would turn off again after a few minutes. It eventually gets to the point where it will turn off a few seconds after I attempt to turn it on (the screen won't even power up at this point).

This is just waste of money. don't buy it unless you need it to complete your child bedroom set.

Ours did the exact same thing.. I Decided the remote thing was worth a try. I turned the TV to DVD (without a DVD in the player) pressed the set up button (on remote) and Restored the Default option. (Highlighted Default; highlighted Restore then pressed OK) Then exited the set up. I did this twice just to make sure, LoL well.. it's been on over 4hrs now with no problem.. seems like this fixed it.. hope it helps!!

One person had that issue right after buying it. It was a high voltage circuit that cost about $70 to fix. Sounds like you all have the same issue. You can see the review on amazon for the TV. Hope this helps you guys.

Have you check the menu for a sleep timer. some remotes have this for tv's that when set it turns off the tv. some of the menu's have a time to have the tv come on and then shut off. you can have this do this once, daily etc. you might also go to their website for there support page to find the solution if this does not help

Cd boombox and headphones

HelloWhen a headphone pin is inserted into a headphone socket, it is normal that the internal speaker of the system will cut OFF. It is normal operation, and not a fault. The speakers of such portable sets are wired such that it should cut OFF when headphone pin is inserted into it. We inserts headphone pin to hear the reception or CD music personally. So there is no need for an output from its speakers. Isn't it?

Need a code for ford ka radio

You can get these Ford codes from this site for £3.50.

I have used them a number of times before as I repair radios. They will also text the code direct to your mobile which is very handy.

Cheap, quick and always accurate so I can confidently vouch for them.

The cd player part of my model CD 102 combo radio, cassette, cd player quit working. The motor tries to run three times, then quits. I can replace the player section if one is available. How much is a...

Since the motor tries to start up, I don't think it's a motor problem. I think that the problem is at the lens; it can't read the cd so it does to stand by mode. I suggest you a cheap solution. Buy a cd/dvd cleaner set, a wet one is better. Follow the instructions on the set. The main idea is to put one drip of the included liquid at the set (usually isopropyl
alchohol) at a specific place (like small brush) on the disk surface and play this disk. That way the "brush" will clean up the laser lens and after that the cd/dvd player will be able to read the disks. BE CAREFULL not to put too much liquid on the "brush". In case you can, use a Q-tip with isopropylic alchool to clean up the cd lens manually.

In case of a problem or clarification, don't hesitate to post me a reply.

Hi...every time I turn off my RV-B90 I have to unplug it and plug it back in before I can turn it back on. Any fix for this?

This was happening on mine and here is how i fixed it.

I would hear clicking from the cassette area when i first turned it on, and the door would be jammed and i had to brute force it open. The kaboom would not shut down by using the power button or remote. Nothing!

I found the tape mechanism was getting jammed out of place because of all the gunk so I cleaned the inside with isopropyl alcohol and a q-tip then moved the mechanisms back and forth with my finger on the bottom where the tape goes over the sensor.

I powered it up with no clicking and was able to shut it off with the power button and remote again. My power issues had to do with the tape player whodathunkit.

Info. for Model No. MP-CD450 indicates a "Warning: Handling the

Hi there. The majority of electrical apparatus use cords that contain a small quantity of lead.
This metal is dangerous if ingested, and should not be a main concerned if handled, providing that you wash your hands afterward.

I quote what American Cancer Society says:

Many electrical wires and cables have small amounts of lead in their outside insulation (surface covering), which can rub off on the hands of people who touch the wires. People can be exposed to lead by ingesting it, so if they eat or put their hands in their mouths without washing up after handling these wires, they can take in small amounts of lead. The bigger hazard is likely to be to toddlers and babies who put wires in their mouths. Since they crawl around on the floor, it can be challenging to keep them away from wires. How can I avoid exposure (and protect children in the house)?
  • The most important point to avoid exposure is to wash your hands after handling the electrical cords to avoid swallowing any lead that rubs off onto them.
  • Don't eat or feed children while handling lead-containing cords or stringing holiday lights.
  • Since small children are more likely to put cords, fingers, and other objects in their mouths, keep lead-containing wires out of their reach.
  • Children are more affected by lead (see ACS document, Lead), and should always have their hands washed before handling food and eating.
