Got a new Dell Studio 17 laptop with TV Tuner, but TV wont go
Dell 17" Studio laptop TV Tuner includes was an AVerTV Hybrid Nanoexpress DVBT, which the card simply slots into the 54mm Express card slot. The I connected the RF cable to the Express card, the galvanic isolater to the RF cable, then by coax to the outside TV aerial. I am in New Zealand. The system scans the available TV, but
keeps coming up with nothing found. What am I doing wrong?

try to eject it through emergency eject hole. if it works try to open with in windows and if it works you need to delete upper filter and lower filter from registry but before doing that take the backup of registry or it may crash your sys.
Well, I know from experience, there are 2 things you need for tv tuner cards. the first thing, of course is a driver. the driver tells your computer how top operate the hardware (the card itself). The NEXT part is the APPLICATION. The App gives you the TV buttons and screens and functions to operate the tuner. If you have the driver installed, but no application, you wont be able to operate the card functions (the computer will SEE the card and say its ready, but youd have no access to it). If you have the APP but no driver, then Windows wont even know what the device IS, so it will not be operational. Make sure you have both the DRIVER and APP installed. Once you do, start the app, look for channel search, auto-add the channels, and you should be all set. Good Luck!
