You seem to say that you have set your home page as yahoo so you can log in to youy yahoo mail. If you dont get the home page we need to know if you are connected to the internet. If you can get other web pages you are.
If you try several other web pages and find none of them are displayed you are not connected to the internet. In your control panel there is an option for network and internet connections. You must find this option and in that option you must find' display network connections' which will show you if there is a connection and you need find out why by running a diagnostic test. Sometimes switching off the computer for 10 minutes and switching on again will solve this problem and this is a general solver of simple problems
If there is not a problem with your internet connection that particular web page yahoo? is blocked. Once someone was sending me emails and rthey were very difficult to recieve on yahoo and later I found someone had hacked into my email and changed settings bllocking off people (domains) that needed to contact me. Just a thought-find out what port yahoo service comes on. That port needs to be open. Does that help

When this happened to me I found my original email contact(not yahoo) had expired because I had changed services. I went to my yahoo contact info and changed this and yahoo was back to normal. ?? dwn
