Compaq IPAQ PCD-1

Hi,
I am thinking to purchase the Compaq IPAQ PCD-1 mp3/cd player, but
don't know much about this:
Anyone experience this mp3 cd player?
1) Does this mp3 cd player play on 700 CDR disk or only 650?
2) How is the sound quality?
3) Overall is bad, worse, ok, good? or you have any other
recommendation?

Thanks for your reply. Yea.. a friend of mine told me that mp3 player
consume
a lot of battery power, charge up full, and last then four songs, the
bar down to zero. I don't know it is the battery problem or what, he
was using the compaq battery come with. Do you got the same problem?
He told me he got the same "No disc" problem before, but he usual
clean up the disc or reinsert the disc seems solve the problem. He is
now having problem to find the adapter for the pcd-1 so he can put
that in this car. Do you know where you can find one?

I've had two of the PCD-1 players from Compaq and have had nothing but
trouble with them both. I couldn't get ANY help from Compaq (other
than "send it to us and we'll fix it at YOUR cost." I burned top
quality cdr and cdrw media using the supplied software and could never
get the player to act the same way twice. Product is full of glitches
and the "support" from compaq is non-existant.
