Problem for Linksys Wireless-G Broadband Router

Lenovo N-500 does not connect to my Edimax router

though It does connect to other wireless networks.
It goes through the Renewing IP address stage and does not pass the Waiting for IP configuration stage.
In the diagnostics window, Lenovo (Vista home Premium) says the DHCP server on this network failed to respond to the request my system made for automatic IP address configuration.
Please help.

Clarification Request

Check the advance settings of the router:

Turn the MAC filtering off
Disable the wifi-protected setup

Next steps
- Check the Internet connection of the router if working properly?
- Try to use any security to the router like WPA to secure your network.

Then reconnect again to the network.
