Question about Trekstor DataStation maxi m.u SATA 3.5" 500GB portable hard drive black 500 GB USB 2.0
I've had this drive for a couple of weeks and it had worked fine. I (gently) moved the drive and the computer to a different location in the house. All of a sudden the drive is only being recognized as "Sunplus USB2SATA Bridge Device" which is a removable disk. I can't access any data. This happens when the drive is connected to a desktop computer running XP and a laptop running Vista. Is there any fix or is the data lost? I have the same problem with my trekstor 500gb, how can i solve it ?
Use EASEUS Data Recovery Wizard to recover the data. You can find the program on the internet..
To format afterwards click Start, click Run and type compmgmt.msc.. In there format your drive..
