I have the same problem with Mastercraft air compressed brad nailer. But the piston/plunger hits the wood but no nail. I notice that when the gun would make a two tone sound on charge, the next shot was a nail. When it didn't make that "pop-lock" like sound, i could shoot all day and no nail. Is that the O rings or driver?

Try spraying Carburator cleaner to clean out the air chamber on the gun, and where the nail comes out

Air comes out the nose of my dewalt framing nailer

Again sounds like blown O ring give it a squirt of 3in1 oil and fire it several times (if oil is compatible in your gun). Repair center if that doesn't work. Trash can also get in the air orifice and stop moving parts from moving.

Craftsman evolv braid nailer leaks air around the trigger when i try to nail. it does not nail sears no. 00915206000 mfg no. 42081 (for kit) on gun model:6G28/F50

Air leaking from trigger when trying to nail indicates that the headvalve is stuck or headvalve orings are dry and allowing air to pass. Remove the head and pull out the headvalve piston. Examine orings for cuts or broken (replace as needed if orings worn and cannot make seal). If headvalve was stuck/dry, lube with plenty of silicone paste lube (sold at Lowes in the plumbing dept. ). Should be good to go. Good luck

Can I change the pressure on the nail gun?

Hi there .
First check if the nail gun have a adjustment screw . Depending on the brand could be in the front where the nails comes out or by the trigger. Second check the compressor by the air hose connection you should have a regulator valve with a gauge and see if you getting the right air pressure .
Hope this help

How do you safely remove jammed nail gun?

Not sure exactly what Bostitch framer model you have, but if it is powered by compressed air, as long as you remove the air hose from the nail gun, there should be no risk of the nail gun firing while you remove the jammed nail. There should be a way to access the driver area from the top of the nail gun, even via a latch or a couple screws. Remove the top part of the driver area and that should give you access to the jammed nail, which you can remove. Use long nose pliers or something similar if the nails are really stuck.
