If your phone supports upto 2GB memory card but you've got a 4GB. What'll happen to the phone if you use 4GB on it ? Will 4GB card cause any damage to nokia 3110c that supports maximum 2GB ?

Thanks for visiting FixYa!

If your phone only supports up to 2GB memory cards, then it will not recognize a 4GB memory card. You won't be able to use any memory card above 2GB at all.

I bought a 8GB memory card and installed into my psp 3000 green console. When i have finished a level it says i need 128kb or so to save. But then when i try and save it does not allow me to. The memory...

hi there,
is the 8gb a MagicGate Pro Duo? the psp works best with these memory cards, people have reported problems with other types of memory card and especially with 4/8gb cards. If the card you have is not a magicgate, I suggest you get one and preferably a 2 or 4gb. 8gb one should be ok as long as its MagicGate. If your card is a magicgate then I suggest trying another(older) card and see if you have the same problem, if not then it's prob a fault with the card itself or like i said, maybe try a 4gb or less. Hope this helps.

We are having the same problem. I researched the problem online and in the Verizon Forums and we are not alone. We are on our 3rd Verizon LG Envy 3 (Sept 2011) and 2nd 16GB memory card (from ebay- both cards worked perfectly in our Blitz and Samsung Glyde)......and we still are out of luck. Verizon acts like this is the first they've heard of the Envy 3 - 4GB/8GB/16GB memory card problem. Evidently, Verizon doesn't pay any attention to their own forums. The Verizon Representative even got very irritated that we were on our 3rd Envy 3 phone (the lights would not work on the keyboard on 1st one) and that we were still calling with problems. I am in the process of filing complaints about the Verizon Rep and the Envy 3 memory card problems. Bottom line.......still looking for a fix!! The phone should recognize the sd card without you having to pull it up manually, both our Blitz and Glyde cell phones did. Oh, one more thing......the Envy 3 recognized a 1GB sd memory card but not the 4GB and above.

My LG Neon is not recognizing the microSD? card. it says "not supported". the memory card itself is microSD HC 8GB. it currently has music on it. not sure if that has anything to do with it.

Hi,the music on the memory card has nothing to do with it,the problem is that the memory card is not supported by the phone, the phone uses a microSD card quite alright but the maximum SD card it supports is 4gb microSD card that is why the 8gb microSD card is not supported by the phone.
so i'll suggest you get a 4gb microSD card.

Take care

Phone says no card when 8gb card is in

have you inserted the card? if yes, open the settings for your phone, look for your memory card and have it formatted through your phone. your card needs to adapt the phone properties first before you can use it.

if that step didn't work, it's better to check your memory card while using friend's phone. consult your phone specifications also for some clarifications, try to check if it can support 8 gb memory cards.

regards.

Some phone have a limitation of memory reading capability, example the 3660 128mb of memory card works fine, but when you replaced it with 1 gig it cannot recognized it. Maybe your phone have 4gig capability only, read your manual or ask to your nearest nokia hub or dealer. Thanks
