Your model number must be plumbed to a external drain.
You may have to install a condensation pump to do this.

Why is my G E stand alone ice-maker not freezing the water that it is getting

It's best to have a qualified service company properlly diagnose your appliance failure. Something to check would be removing the to kick grill, and making the sure the condenser coil is clean and free of dust. It's rare that you would have a freon issue, but may be experiencing a sealed system issue such as an internal leaking reversing valve allowing the freon to be channeled in two directions within the system instead of just one. How long once the ice maker starts making ice should we use it

What kind of ice maker is it? Is it a stand alone or is it inside your freezer? If inside your freezer it will take two days to fill the storage container. Stand alone types usually make 20 lbs of ice in 24 hrs or so.

My stand alone kitchen aid icemaker is filling up with water. It is making ice but it keeps filling up with water as well. I had a plumber come out last week because the ice maker was leaking. He fixed...

The drains on items like this get a sludgy residue built up in the drains. Make sure its clear. Empty the bin and you should see the drain port run a small amount of hot water in it. Not a lot as it could leak from the drain tray if it has one. If the drain is clear then it could be a nice maker issue where it's dumping too much water in the tray to harvest. Excess would spill over.

Kitchenaid stand alone ice maker makes ice and melts all the ice

Is it melting through heat or spilling water onto the ice already made? I suspect the latter, in which case suspect a blocked overflow drain

MY IEMAKER IS STAND ALONE, AND AUTOMATICALLY GOES INTO CLEANING MODE NO MATTER WHAT I DO... CAN U HELP??

It amazes me that the supposed repair people don't realize you're talking about a stand alone machine. They keep talking about augurs and freezers which, of course, a stand alone does not have but a fridge does!
I have the same problem but my stand alone is on a houseboat which has us turning power from generator to shore power etc, that's when it seems to go to cleaning cycle. It seems to be related to power going on and off.

Kitchenaid stand alone ice does not make ice feel heat inside bin

Either has electric problem or mechanical.
way to tell is plug it up, turn it on turn on water. If its sending in water unplug it and if water stops it is electrical and the ice maker head is causing the problem if it stops the water valve is stuck open and you can disassemble and clean it out sometimes. A slight lime scale can cause this.
Hope this helps please rate me accordingly and good luck.

Kitchenaid stand alone ice maker. Fills resevoir with water and begin to make ice. When the resevoir is empty, the unit doesn't know to let water in again and the pump just cavitates away

Check and see if your cutting grid is still lined up on the back side towards the freezer plate. I have had the cutter miss align on some and failed to see it then just have to remove the thumb screws and re set the back end. Feel for more roughness from scale. Especially on the sides and edges. you may need to clean it again

This unit I believe is set to allow water in when it goes through a harvest. it wont refill until the coldest temp is reached then will stop filling after the warmest temp is reached.
