Torpedo treadmill e3 I turn on the treadmill, push start, an it counts down. Then E3 flashes in the time area. E3 continues to flash until you turn off the treadmill. Help!

You have to check the speed sensor of the treadmill. May it can be displace or can be dirt accumulated on it or the speed sensor would be faulty.

The belt is slipping

This is a common issue. Over time the belt stretches. You will need to adjust the tension on the running belt to alleviate this issue. If there is no adjustment room left, then you will need to replace your running belt and deck surface. The link below will take you to the products for your machine. Please use your serial number to narrow down your choices.

I have a roger black treadmill the belt stops working after 5 - 6 minutes, the display still continues counting as normal, I have to wait for acouple of hours to start it again to last for 5 mins. please...

1) this a problem by lack of LUBE maintenance, you must LUBE about 5 hours continuosly of use. Otherwise you may have a worn DECK BELT, and time to replace. By that reason the treadmill shut down, to due the software has protection itself for electronic system
2) LUBE the rollers bearing.
3) test the bearing from the main motor, and replace too.
God bless you

Repco fitness Treadmill error E7

This happened to mine, e7 is an error in the incline, meaning that the incline is too high or too low in the accepted range for the starting position of the treadmill. When the treadmill starts it looks to see if the incline screw shaft of the incline motor is in the correct position. If it isn't it gives the error message and shuts down. This happened to us after we had moved and the treadmill was bumped around a bit, this caused the incline worm shaft to move out of position, and that is why we got the error message.
To fix the problem I just took the cover off the motor area of the treadmill (WITH THE POWER OFF AND CORD DISCONNECTED) and located the incline motor, it has a threaded rod and a big nut coming along side the motor itself. It is the smaller motor. On the end of the threaded shaft is a plus sign cut into the shaft, so that you can insert a philips head screw driver into it and rotate the shaft. The shaft will rotate easily in one direction. Insert the screw driver into the end of the shaft and rotate the shaft so it goes as far into the big nut holding it as you can, don't twist it tightly, just make sure that the shaft has gone all the way in without binding, it still needs to rotate freely in and out. Put the cover back on and then switch it on. The treadmill should now start right up.

Everything works. but the treadmill motor won't start when I press the on button.

If you press start and the belt will not turn, but your incline is working, the time is counting and the speed #'s change. The problem would most likely be the lower control board. It could also be your motor. Have a professional test the motor with a DC voltage source. If it tests OK the problem is almost certainly the control board. Depending on the brand, some control boards have a fuse. Have the fuse checked and if it is bad replace it and try starting the treadmill again before you buy a new control board.

Belt tracking

Take the end caps and motor shroud off visually inspect the frame tension bolts to see if anything is bent. then loosen, ( count how rotation it took to loosen the so when tighten the belt up you won't have to guest at the tension ) the belt and edges of the belt to see if the weave is uneven this cause the belt to travel. If you can tip the treadmill on its side to inspect underneath to see if anything skewed. Take your time and observe the mechanical operation you may have the above a 1/2 a dozen time before you see the problem, other than that anything short of replacing the belt this my recommendation. Good Luck to you

Treadmill will not start, continues counting the time but not rotating the motor. Have the same problem. Motor control was replaced to no avail. Motor was replaced still no dice. Had the old motor...

Better know someone who can fix it, like who you got the Treadmill from. Maybe they can help you, it's better if you had the warranty. Or you can trade yours in for another one. That always helps.
