Question about Epson AcuLaser C1900 Printer
I have had the above error code appear after a jam B which has now cleared. I am left with poor print quality of black tints and all yellows. Any ideas would be appreciated...Thanks
Error code 014 indicates that the cooling fan on the power supply board is not operating when the printer is switched on. Does n't explain the poor print quality though. I suspect it is a worn 2nd BTR roller (the black foam coloured roller inside the rear door). To check this send a coloured print through and press hard against the rear door during printing. If the print quality improves then it is a worn roller, if it doesn't let us know and we'll try something else.
Please take a moment to rate this solution. Thanks.
