A normal minijack (3,5 mm) cable, with the same plug in both ends.

if you have a cable already, try to adjust the volume using the buttons on the screen

the vga monitor cable also carries the audio - there is a 3.5mm jack on one end of the cable that plugs into your speaker socket

I have got a hyundai monitor imagequest l50s , but the speakers won"t work

If the speakers are built in, check that the volume on the speakers via OSD is not turned all the way down or off. Many monitors that have speakers have an audio amplifier as the sound output from computers is very low and requires a powered speaker system in most cases. They are designed to operate head phones only now a days.

I have a hyundai imagequest l72s 17 lcd monitor and can't get sound from the speakers. What to do?

You have already vrify that the sound card and setting in the computer is OK? You can try feeding the audio source from MP3 player to see if you will get the sound OK. If it still does not work, to fix the sound circuits will cost you more tahn a good set of powered PC speaker system, you may want to think about that first before putting money into this monitor.

Tear it apart and inspect the power supply and inverter circuit for bulging capacitors - they should have a flat tops. Replace the caps with identical values.
