GO HERE to locate your board.
Spending time to find the bad component is futile without proper testing equipment.
Prices range from $50 to $200 depending on the board in your fridge.

Thanks for using FixYa!!

Good afernoon and welcome to fixya
you can unplug the fridge and wait a couple of minutes ( this wont hurt anything) then plug it back in. make sure that everything is working fine such as fridge is operating, then start the hunt for the control panel at the parts house of your choice. good luck with this.

Hi there. There is no reset, nor is there a fuse on the board. That unit is very solid state. When you blow the board, it's blown. You should make sure you have power to the frige first, if so, then you need to replace the entire control board. Probably 60 to 100 bucks depending on your parts house. Sorry, and good luck.

Remove faceplate in door of a kenmore frig.

If you look at the bottom of the facial plate, underneath. There are two slots to insert a flat screw driver. You should be able to access everything once you take that off. Good luck

Kenmore Elite side-by-side (1999 model--don't have #)

Evaporator is probably overiced as a result od door not being completly closed at some time recently, turn off and defrost overnight with the doors open, turn on the next day and it should work ok within 24hrs. Regards Advisor
