Question about PC Desktops

I am unable to synchronize my Jornada 720 with my PC. The PC is running Windows XP Professional and I have used ActiveSync 3.1, 3.8 and 4.5. It will not link, even though after failing it says USB available.

Your phone may support USB so as to just charge the battery of your phone only. So, your ActiveSync 3.1 or any version will not work if your phone doesn't have any synchronization function. Confirm first whether your phone has this function, if not, then your phone can not perform synchronization. Thanks

I am unable to install windows XP. is it possible to install windows XP along with the Windows 7 that is already installed........ suggest me asap

If you want to have both windows 7 and windows xp installed on your computer, it is advisable that you first install windows xp. You should allways install the oldest windows version first. To install windows XP on your computer you need the installation cd. Boot your computer with the Windows XP installation cd, maybe you have to enter bios to set cd to boot first. Let me now if you need more information.

I am going to purchase hp z400 with xeon processor 4gb 500 gb nvidea 1gb quadro graphic card , please let me kno that can i install windows xp in it

Yes you should be able to install Windows XP on this computer system. However Windows XP Professional 64bit edition will be better as you will be running 4GB of RAM. If you use 32bit version it can only make use of 3.85GB of the 4GB installed.

If you can install Windows 7 Professional 64bit.

Take care!

The eApp software was designed to function on both laptop and tablet PC computers.
Below are the hardware/software requirements for each configuration.
Note: eApp should run under Windows 2000, Windows XP Home and Media Center versions but Windows XP Professional (32 bit) and Windows Vista (32 bit) are the only 2 operating systems that the eApp help desk currently support. Use of an unsupported operating system can inhibit your ability to use eApp as it was intended and cause extra 3rd party support expenses.

if you have windows 98 boot disk put that in, the firt thing you do is to go to f-disk and change the partions in it, then format c: drive. take out disk in A drive put in New windows XP CD and restart. the disk will run and install itself. and thats it. right now your partions are set to read only windows 95, 98, there are 2 options to choose from I belive the one you need is 32.
