Either the breaker has tripped and not allowing it to heat, thermal fuse kit may have gone bad or element is bad.that is normal problems with dryers.first check to see if 220 is going to dryer and drye cord is in good shape.no burns.

Dryer works but doesnt get hot to dry clothes

there is only 1 reason as to the unit still running but not heating if its running then all thermos must be intact so it has to be the heating coil take the unit appart make sure the two heating points still have the cables attached if you can do a polarity test on the element that will define its blown then replace the coil in most cases when the coil blows you can see a burn mark were it did

best luck

IT RUNS BUT DOES NOT HEAT

Hi,

Check the blown fuses and home’s circuit breaker tripped. Dryer use 2 household Fuses or a circuit breakers, If one is blown, the dryer may still operate but not heat. Alternatively, the dryer may heat, but it may not heat up as hot as it should. Replace the Fuses or reset the circuit breaker.

Another common cause of a dryer failing to heat is a faulty Heating Element. You will need to replace it.

Good Luck and have a nice day.
Rating the solution is highly appreciated.

Roper dryer, timer doesn't time out and not heating up?

Dryer will run forever if it doesnt heat up, Dryer has to heat up and thermostat has to get hot and open to start the timer. Odds are rally great, it is your heating element.

My dryer was working fine the other day now it doesnt get hot,and its not drying my clothes

1st thing I always tell people to do is turn the 30 amp breakers off an then back on. Only the heating element is 240 volts, the motor is 120 volts. So if 1/2 the breaker trips the unit will run, but no heat. Try this first. Also depending on dryer if there are buttons for different heat settings make sure the button is all the way in. Some dryers if you hit several buttons at the same time will cause none to be selected and shut down the heat. Hope this helps.
