Question about HP DeskJet 690c InkJet Printer
4 times I have my black cartridge re-filled with succes.
But now after the next re-filling he does not like my cartridge anymore.
The yellow lamp blinks like there is no cartridge, but there is one.
And he makes a strange noise. The contacts are clean. Is there something like a memory in the printer or cartridge, so he remembers it as the same cartridge again?
Yes, some printers do, but I do not think that this one does. The sound worries me, like maybe the cartridge is not installed properly? I would try to take out all carts, power down and disconnect the printer, wait about 5 minutes, then reconnect and reinstall the carts. Where did you get it refilled? That is what I do for a living, refilling and remanufacturing ink and toner carts....
