Re: I want to uninstall yahoo messinger.
Hi there. This would infuriate me also. some friend yes. Well here is your solution. First of all open your control panel then click on programs. What you want to do is uninstall yahoo messenger and possibly other programs. Once you get into the control panel programs u will see that uninstalling is easy. good luck.

I'm going to guess you're computer is running on Windows. I'm using Windows 7 and but the other versions will be very similar. I would recommend removing Messenger and reloading it. Click on the Start button and choose 'Control Panel' from the pop-up window. Under 'Programs' click on 'Uninstall a Program'. Go down the list and find 'Yahoo Messenger' probably at the very bottom since they are listed alphabetically. Right click on in and select 'Uninstall/Change'. Follow the instructions to uninstall. Then go to Yahoo and download a clean version of Messenger. I hope this helps
it can be fixed through deleting extra key in registry settings. navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER \Software \Microsoft \Windows \CurrentVersion \Internet Settings\ then delete keys other than 0,1,2,3,4 get someone who knows around windows registry to set it right..goodluck
Uninstall you yahoo messenger using a uninstaller program like revo uninstaller. Then try to install a fresh yahoo messenger into your computer. Try also to clean, optimize and repair your registry using ccleaner
Your yahoo is conflicting with any background processes running. Try to reinstall the messenger. First uninstall the messenger. Try to use disk cleanup utility and after that install that again. If it doesnt work than you send me the error message it shows.
I don't know the cause of the problem, but I do no that yahoo are having problems at the moment, even emails sent to yahoo adresses are being sent back (they are to me anyway). I know it is a big drag, but you can only keep trying until they have resolved the issues themselves
