Canon ImageClass MF 8180c Error Code E071

I keep getting the Error Code E071. I keep unplugging and resetting the machine as advised in the owner manual, but still continue to get the same error. I replaced the black cartridge earlier today. Don't know if that had anything to do with it???

Any help is appreciated.
Thanks!

E24 error

Hello Dana, this is Z. I am happy to assist you!

If you are getting an error code E24 on your Electrolux washer, it usually means one of three things: your drain pump relay has failed, a wire may be disconnected from the pump, or your main control board needs replacing. One of the best ways to determine if this is a false error code is to reset the power to the appliance by either unplugging it or flipping off the breaker for about 30 seconds. If the error code persists, it would be advisable to contact an experienced appliance repair tech to assist further.

Best regards.

I have a e ae please help

Good Afternoon Dan, thank you for your post!

Are you certain the error code is E AE? Is it possible that the error code is missing characters? According from my research EAE is not a valid error code. Meanwhile, let's try resetting the washer by either unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker to the off position. It is important to wait approximately ten minutes and then turn the washer on. If resetting the power does not correct the issue, could you please advise me of the new error code or if it continues to display E AE? With this information I can better address the issue at hand. Thank you!

E6 error I need help

Good Afternoon Ismael, I am happy to assist you. However, could the error code possibly be missing characters? According from my research Frigidaire does not have an E6 error code. Meanwhile, let's try resetting the washer by either unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker to the off position. It is important to wait approximately ten minutes and then turn the washer on. If resetting the power does not correct the issue, could you please advise me of the new error code or if it continues to display E6? With this information I can better address the issue at hand. Thank you and I look forward to your response.

I have A samsung washer p801 and the washer wont close it keeps telling me Ed and i tried turning off the machine and closing the door and turning off the machine when i open it but the door just wont lock...

ED is a door not closed error code. The lock may be on and the machine will need to be reset. To do this either leave the machine unplugged for 24 hours or see if there is a reset option on the machine. If you need an owners manual, I can probably locate one for you .

Our washing machine will not drain, and keeps bringing up "LD" error code. It keeps beeping and the timer isn't going down.

  1. residential washer displays error codes. Though designed to indicate the nature of the error, to anyone without a copy of a washer manual handy, the codes might as well be Martian cryptography. Luckily, the Manage My Life website has partnered with Kenmore and made manuals for each make and model of Kenmore washer available online. The error codes are differentiated between top and front-loading machines.
  2. FH Error Code
  3. When a front-loading Kenmore residential washer displays the "FH" error code, the machine is experiencing a water-inlet problem. A water-inlet problem is the result of the washer receiving too little water to operate. The Kenmore owner's manual suggests five home remedies for this problem: Check that the water faucets connected to the washer are turned on; that the inlet screens in the washer's connection hose are not clogged; that the hose is not kinked; and that the hose is not frozen. If none of these problems are present, turn off the washer, unplug it, plug it back in, and restart the machine.
  4. FL Error Code
  5. The "FL" error code on a top-loading Kenmore residential washer indicates that the machine has over filled. When a residential Kenmore washer is overfull, it will beep every 10 seconds. The pump will cycle on and off every 30 seconds in an attempt to rectify the problem. To stop the pump or restart the machine, either disengage and then re-engage the power source to the washer, or push the overfill reset switch. If water continues to enter the machines after the "FL" error has appeared, shut off the inlet flow faucet or the machine will overflow.
  6. F02 Error Code
  7. The "F02" error code on a front-loading Kenmore residential washer indicates that the machine is experiencing a drainage problem. Home-remedy solutions for this error code, as suggested by the Kenmore manual, are similar to those for the "FH" error code: Insure that the drainage hose is not kinked, frozen, or clogged. If none of these problems are present, check that the hose is less than 96 inches, or 8 feet, above the floor. A hose more than eight feel from the floor will not drain properly

How to fix canon code E071

Here is an answer from DZJOLLA:
"hi there

well ive had years of experience on these machines and seen this error loads so ure in lucksmile.gif

1st off are u a tech? if not do not read any further as this post will only make sense to a tech.

i can only imagine this machine is old now. most of the time its the connectors that cause the e071 error. how many prints has copier done? have the connectors on the carraige frame and on frame of machine ever been changed? if not thats more than like causing your issue.

is your TD unit spinning ok? or is there resistence somewhere, if so this might also cause this error. the manual points to the 3 timing sensors in the TD unit IE. timing plates arent arriving on time for those sensors, but again everything relates back to the connectors as this is where it gets its voltage from. blow the sensors out as well.

change the connectors mate would be my 1st conclusion for that errorsmile.gif let me know how u go please...

the other errors arent even coming up in the manual which points even more to the connectors.:

I had the same error message E071. Had to call out an engineer who diagnose the Drum 701 was leaking toner - this got on the electrical contacts at the bottom of the drum. He cleaned the contacts on the drum and in the machine - put my old Drum in there and all is OK. The drum was 9 months old and not had much use so I am trying to get a replacement from Canon under warantee.
