Question about Acer Aspire 5610 Notebook
Go to device manager. start>right click my computer>properties>hardware tab. Scroll down until you see CD/DVD. Click on the "+" then right click on your CD player name. Uninstall the drivers. Reboot and plug and play will load the correct drivers then it will work.

Check in bios settings your dvd is found or not reset your bios load optimal defaults.
